Translational research with promise to affect clinical treatment innovation will receive priority. With an international editorial board of experts and key opinion leaders, the Journal will support multiple stakeholders as they aim to solve complex gynecologic cancer problems. Providing essential reading for all stakeholders we will publish original research, invited reviews, editorials, perspectives, and correspondence. Importantly, as the official journal of the SGO, the Journal will publish communications from the SGO including abstracts, practice statements and guidelines.
  • Heart & Lung

    • ISSN: 0147-9563
Heart & Lung: The Journal of Cardiopulmonary and Acute CareHeart & Lung, the official publication of the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, publishes original, peer-reviewed articles that advance the clinical and translational science of cardiovascular and pulmonary disease, including care delivered in acute and critical care settings. We welcome submissions that focus on improving outcomes for patients with cardiovascular and/or respiratory conditions, across the continuum of care—from hospital to home, and from prevention to advanced disease management. Our scope includes clinical research, implementation science, quality improvement, and translational studies that bridge scientific discovery and clinical practice. The journal focuses on three major, integrated domains: cardiovascular disease (such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and structural heart conditions), pulmonary disease (including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary vascular disorders), and critical and acute care, specifically as it relates to patients with underlying or primary cardiopulmonary conditions. All manuscripts must clearly demonstrate a clinical and translational impact. Basic science, animal studies, or work in cellular or molecular models without direct human applicability will not be considered. Genomics and biomarker research are welcome only if the findings have clear translational relevance to cardiopulmonary care. The journal does not consider work in rehabilitation science, psychometric scale development, or workforce issues unless it is directly linked to improving outcomes in patients with cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease. We encourage submissions from interdisciplinary teams, across diverse settings and populations, and from researchers around the globe. Articles that provide practical frameworks for applying research in clinical care are especially valued.
  • Behaviour Research and Therapy

    • ISSN: 0005-7967
An International Multi-Disciplinary Journal. The major focus of Behaviour Research and Therapy is an experimental psychopathology approach to understanding emotional and behavioral disorders and their prevention and treatment, using cognitive, behavioral, and psychophysiological (including neural) methods and models. This includes laboratory-based experimental studies with healthy, at risk and subclinical individuals that inform clinical application as well as studies with clinically severe samples. The following types of submissions are encouraged: theoretical reviews of mechanisms that contribute to psychopathology and that offer new treatment targets; tests of novel, mechanistically focused psychological interventions, especially ones that include theory-driven or experimentally-deriv... predictors, moderators and mediators; and innovations in dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices into clinical practice in psychology and associated fields, especially those that target underlying mechanisms or focus on novel approaches to treatment delivery. In addition to traditional psychological disorders, the scope of the journal includes behavioural medicine (e.g., chronic pain). The journal will consider manuscripts dealing primarily with measurement and psychometric analyses if relevant to the primary focus of the journal (e.g., transdiagnostic mechanisms). The Editor and Associate Editors will make an initial determination of whether or not submissions fall within the scope of the journal and/or are of sufficient merit and importance to warrant full review.
  • The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry

    • ISSN: 0955-2863

The scope of the journal includes the broad area of in vivo and in vitro studies of mechanistic aspects of nutritional sciences. Preferred manuscripts include studies, which focus on nutrients and/or bioactive compounds with nutritional value derived from diets/whole foods as it relates to: biochemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, immunology or physiology and human health and diseases.Rigorous reviews by an international editorial board of distinguished scientists ensure publication of the most current and key research being conducted in nutrition at the cellular, animal and human level. In addition to its monthly features of critical reviews and research articles, The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry also periodically publishes emerging issues, experimental methods, and other types of articles such as but not limited to policy statements.Contact InformationReto Asmis, Ph.D, Editor-in-Chief The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry Professor, Internal Medicine, Section on Molecular Medicine Wake Forest School of Medicine Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157 E-mail address: [email protected]...
