    Recognised by the European Resuscitation Council as its official Journal.Resuscitatio... is an interdisciplinary journal for the dissemination of clinical and basic science research relating to acute care medicine and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is especially of interest to healthcare professionals working in critical care, emergency medicine, acute medicine, anaesthesia, cardiology, paediatrics, and neonatology. Resuscitation is a monthly journal, publishing papers dealing with the aetiology, pathophysiology and prevention of cardiac arrest, resuscitation training, clinical resuscitation, and rapid response systems. Experimental resuscitation research papers (including animal studies) are published occasionally, but only if they are of exceptional interest and related directly to clinical cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Papers relating to trauma are published occasionally but the majority of these concern specifically traumatic cardiac arrest.Research papers, review articles and letters to the editor are welcome. Resuscitation does not publish case reports or papers unrelated to cardiac arrest.The journal's open access companion title, Resuscitation Plus, welcomes a range of manuscripts, including animal studies, systematic, narrative and scoping reviews, case reports and methods papers relating to cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

    Biological Psychology publishes original scientific papers on neural, endocrine, immune, and other physiological aspects of psychological states and processes. Such aspects include assessments by biochemistry, electrophysiology, and neuroimaging during psychological experiments as well as biologically induced changes in psychological function. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are also of interest. All aspects of psychological functioning, including psychopathology, are germane.The Journal is focused on work with human individuals, but may consider work with animals, if conceptually related to issues in human biological psychology. The Journal welcomes work that spans disciplines and methods and recruits an editorial team that is especially suited for handling such manuscripts. Empirical reports are the core of the Journal, but methodological and theoretical reports relevant to biological psychology are encouraged (see list of article types for more information). Finally, the Journal regularly publishes special issues on selected topics within its scope.
