Global issues require studies and solutions at national and regional levels. Geoderma Regional aims to publish research that contributes to advancing our knowledge on soils in all regions of the world. Soils formed in different pedo-climatic zones present unique aspects and complexities. Large regional variations in soil characteristics, usage, and challenges to soil health underpin the importance of addressing local soil concerns and implementing region-specific strategies for sustainable soil management.The journal embraces regional perspectives in soil science, promotes interdisciplinary work, and encourages the adoption of appropriate soil classifications. This reflects our commitment to fostering a comprehensive understanding of soils worldwide and enabling the development of sustainable solutions tailored to regional needs. In order for the journal to ensure the applicability and generalizability of published regional research, Geoderma Regional requires all submissions to include descriptions of the investigated soils following either the latest editions of either IUSS World Reference Base for Soil Resources or USDA Soil Taxonomy. Global Food Security

Motivation for Global Food Security arose from concern about the difficulty for scientists and policy makers to keep up with the expanding volume of information published about the challenge of ensuring food systems are meeting human food safety and nutritional requirements whilst protecting the environment, securing livelihoods, mitigating against climate change, and reducing inequalities. The journal takes the food system to incorporate all levels of food production from the supply of agricultural inputs and agricultural production through to final consumption, and the wider technological, environmental, economic, political and social context within which this occurs.Global Food Security aims to publish papers that contribute to better understanding of economic, social, biophysical, technological, political, and institutional drivers of current and future food security at the local to global levels. It aims to stimulate debate that is rooted in robust scientific analysis, has strong interdisciplinary connections, and recognizes the trade-offs that often occur because of reconciling competing objectives and outcomes in promoting the needed transformation of food systems.While integration across academic disciplines is encouraged, papers on specific elements of Global Food Security will also be considered if they address important constraints and have broad geographical relevance. Industrial Crops and Products is an international journal publishing research on cultivated plants (crops) of industrial interest (non-food, non-feed). Papers concern both crop-oriented and bio-based materials research. It should be of interest to an international audience, hypothesis driven, and repeatable. Crops and products of interest include: fiber, forest, and energy crops, industrial oilseeds, rubber and resins, and cultivated medicinal and aromatic plants. The plant(s) in the manuscript must fit our definition of industrial crops, before it is classified further in research topics as indicated below. Research on food, phytochemistry, ethnobotany, and medicine are not in the scope of the journal. Authors should make clear in the cover letter how the research fits our scope following the detailed scope description below.The following are examples of research that fits within the scope of the journal:Industrial crop management practices to increase productivity and specific chemical components. The Journal of Stored Products Research provides an international medium for the publication of both reviews and original results from laboratory and field research on all aspects of the preservation and safety of stored products along the supply chain starting from production to the consumer. The scope covers both durable commodities, and fresh fruits, vegetables, and freshly manufactured foodstuffs. Durable commodities are characterized by having relatively low moisture content and include raw and semi-processed foods such as grains, dried fruits, and animal feed, and other stored products such as timber, rubber, resins, clothing, and museum artefacts that are generally suitable for long-term storage. Similarly, applied agronomic or phytochemical studies that generate no new, fundamental insights in plant physiological and/or biochemical processes are not suitable for publication in PPB. Authors interested in writing a review article should contact one of the review editors in advance by submitting a summary of the intended manuscript. Postharvest Biology and Technology is devoted exclusively to the publication of original papers, review articles and frontiers articles on biological and technological postharvest research of horticultural crops including fruit, vegetables, grapes, flowers, tea and nuts, but excluding grains, seeds, forages and spices.All aspects of postharvest research throughout the supply chain will be considered, including storage technologies, treatments and underpinning mechanisms, quality evaluation, packaging, handling, and distribution.The following research areas will be considered if they directly affect postharvest science: preharvest factors, ripening and senescence, product safety, systems biology, bioinformatics, entomology, plant physiology, plant pathology, (bio)chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, engineering, modelling, economics, and technologies for non-destructive testing.Manuscripts on the effect of treatments on the storage life of a product should have a mechanistic component and must include research on the physiological effects and working principles of the treatments. Manuscripts that report on non-destructive testing should relate to the biological processes of the product and should include a strong relationship with postharvest biology and technology. Manuscripts reporting novel fundamental and interdisciplinary research that addresses biological, technological, and socio-economic issues that impact technology acceptance, are encouraged.The focus of this journal is on fresh horticultural products.
