Announcement: Since January 2021 the European Journal of Cell Biology became an open access journal. Authors who publish in European Journal of Cell Biology will be able to make their work immediately, permanently, and freely accessible.European Journal of Cell Biology authors will pay an article publishing charge (APC), have a choice of license options, and retain copyright to their published work. The APC will be requested after peer review and acceptance. The APC payment will be required for all accepted articles submitted after the 30th of September 2020. The European Journal of Cell Biology (EJCB) welcomes articles that include original long- and short-format studies and reviews covering multi-disciplinary approaches to cell biology in models as diverse as life itself. With emphasis in quality and reproducibility, the Journal also welcomes submissions on transversal and technical advances that push the edge of knowledge forward. Experimental Gerontology is a multidisciplinary journal that spans all areas of gerontology, geroscience, and geriatrics, with an emphasis on studies focused on immune, endocrine, cellular, and subcellular systems, as well as studies focused on population-based, epidemiological, and basic aspects of age-related diseases, and interventional studies. The journal also publishes studies exploring functional, motor, cognitive, behavioral, and social implications of aging. Studies aimed at bridging the gap between mechanistic and clinical aspects of gerontology, such as papers on determinants of age-related conditions oriented toward the identification and validation of their biomarkers, are highly welcomed. Clinical case reports do not fall within the scope of the journal.Experimental Gerontology publishes original research, short reports, reviews and mini-reviews. Special Issues in which leading experts are invited to serve as Guest Editors to compile a collection of reviews and original articles around a particular topic are also published in the journal. The main focus of Experimental Parasitology is experimental approaches to investigating different aspects of parasitology, including, but not limited to, those encompassed by molecular tools, cell biology, and immunology. Gene Reports is a companion title to Gene and a member of the Gene Family. Genetics in Medicine (GIM) is an official journal of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. The journal's mission is to enhance the knowledge, understanding, and practice of medical genetics and genomics through publications in clinical and laboratory genetics and genomics, including ethical, legal, and social issues as well as public health. As genetics and genomics continue to increase in importance and relevance in medical practice, the journal will be an accessible and authoritative resource for the dissemination of medical genetic knowledge to all medical providers through appropriate original research, reviews, commentaries, standards, and guidelines. GIM encourages research that combats racism, includes diverse populations and is written by authors from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.In addition:GIM does not publish case reportsManuscripts reporting population level research carried out in predominantly or exclusively White populations will generally not be accepted without strong justification for lack of diversity in the population studied.The significance of articles reporting data and/or observations from a limited geographic region is evaluated in the context of whether they are generalizable across relevant populations or whether they might fill a knowledge gap in populations that are underrepresented in genetics research or that experience health disparities.Although cancer genetics is a focus, GIM discourages cancer genetics manuscripts with data limited to somatic and/or tumor genetics.
