Habitat International
A Journal for the Study of Human Settlements Supporting the Building and Social Housing Foundation: www.bshf.orgHabitat International is dedicated to the study of urban and rural human settlements: their planning, design, production and management. Its main focus is on urbanisation in its broadest sense in the developing world. However, increasingly the interrelationships and linkages between cities and towns in the developing and developed worlds are becoming apparent and solutions to the problems that result are urgently required. The economic, social, technological and political systems of the world are intertwined and changes in one region almost always affect other regions. Habitat International welcomes reports of research on urban issues such as policy and implementation, the links between planning, building and land, finance and management, urban design, the interaction between the natural environment and urban areas the provision of urban services and other related problems. Papers on topics which clearly have broad implications and interrelationships based on the experiences of the developing or developed world will be considered. Submissions exploring these issues within the development context are particularly welcomed. Quality papers, short communications, comments on published papers and reports on relevant conferences from all parts of the world are presented as it is recognised that such urban problems arise everywhere. Hopefully, Habitat International will contribute to their solution.Supporting the Building and Social Housing Foundation: www.bshf.org- ISSN: 0197-3975

Journal of Mathematical Economics
In the Editor's view, the formal mathematical expression of economic ideas is of vital importance to economics. Such expression can determine whether a loose economic intuition has a coherent, logical meaning. Also, a full formal development of economic ideas can itself suggest new economic concepts and intuitions. The primary objective of the Journal is to provide a forum for work in economic theory which expresses economic ideas using formal mathematical reasoning. For work to add to this primary objective, it is not sufficient that the mathematical reasoning be new and correct. The work must have real economic content. The economic ideas must be interesting and important. These ideas may pertain to any field of economics or any school of economic thought.- ISSN: 0304-4068

Psychology of Sport and Exercise
An Official Journal of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC)Psychology of Sport and Exercise is an international forum for scholarly reports in the psychology of sport and exercise, broadly defined. The journal is open to the use of diverse methodological approaches. To be considered for publication, manuscripts must make a substantive theoretical or methodological contribution. Manuscripts that will be considered for publication include results from high quality empirical research, reviews, meta-analyses, reports of professional practice (which need to demonstrate academic rigour and go beyond mere description), registered reports, and commentaries concerning already published PSE papers. Authors should adhere to recognised reporting guidelines for research (e.g., PRISMA guidelines for reviews and meta-analyses; TIDieR guidelines for interventions; CONSORT statement for randomised trials). Registered reports undergo a two-phase review process in which study rationale and methodology are considered prior to the research being undertaken. Authors are welcome to pre-register their study with an external organization (e.g. OSF), but it is not required. Authors interested in submitting replications of published studies need to contact the Editors-in-Chief before they start their replication. Quantitative studies should be theoretically informed and empirical research justified with a-priori power estimates provided (drawing on effects sizes from previous meta-analyses and/or specific papers with designs close to the one authors use). Qualitative studies should address the ontological/epistemo... position and methodological rigour of the study. We are not interested in manuscripts that aim to test the psychometric properties of an existing scale from English to another language, unless new validation methods are used which address previously unanswered research questions.Additional information If you wish to contact one of the Editors-in-Chief for any reason, (e.g. becoming a reviewer, interest in joining editorial board, issue about journal policy) please email the Editors-in-Chief. All manuscripts should be presented as concisely as possible. Authors should consider making available some of their material as supplementary electronic material to keep the overall page limit around 30 pages (8000 words) including references, tables, and figures. If manuscripts are mixed-methods, multiple experiments, complex designs, or include large tables and data sets (qualitative and/or quantitative), authors are requested to provide more information about their rationale for a longer page length (more than 8000 words) for their paper during the review process (e.g., in the cover letter to the Editors). The editorial team will then decide on the appropriateness of a longer page length when considering the submission. All submissions are screened by one of the editors before they are sent out for review to assess their suitability for the journal. Hence, there is no need to contact the editors prior to submission. The editors will also consider short communications for publication and such submissions should be a maximum of 15 pages including abstract (150 words max), main text, references, tables, and figures. Commentaries on published PSE papers should be a maximum of 5 pages, including abstract, references, tables, and figures.- ISSN: 1469-0292

Research in Autism
Research in Autism (REIA) publishes high quality empirical articles and reviews that contribute to a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at all levels of description; genetic, neurobiological, cognitive, and behavioral. The primary focus of the journal is to bridge the gap between basic research at these levels, and the practical questions and difficulties that are faced by autistic individuals and their families, as well as carers, educators and clinicians. In addition, the journal encourages submissions on topics that remain under-researched in the field. We know shamefully little about the causes and consequences of the significant language and general intellectual impairments that are very common among the autism community. Even less is known about the challenges that autistic women face and less still about the needs of autistic individuals as they grow older. Medical and psychological co-morbidities and the complications they bring with them for the diagnosis and treatment of ASD represents another area of relatively little research. REIA is committed to promoting high-quality and rigorous research on all of these issues.- ISSN: 3050-6565

Personality and Individual Differences
The Official Journal of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID)Personality and Individual Differences is primarily devoted to the publication of articles (experimental, correlational, theoretical, expository/review) which enhance our understanding of the structure of personality and other forms of individual differences, the processes which cause these individual differences to emerge, and their practical applications. Accessible methodological contributions are also welcome. The Editors invite papers that focus on the genetic, biological, and environmental foundations of individual differences, and possible interaction effects. While we recognize the importance of questionnaires for the measurement of individual differences, we encourage their link to experimental and behavioural measures. Ultimately the editors of PAID view human beings as bio-social organisms and that work on individual differences can be most fruitfully pursued by attending to both these aspects of our nature. We consider studies involving cross-sectional mediation/moderation analyses of self-reported data only when these directly test a theory.Mendelian Randomization studies will not be considered unless they are accompanied by another set of analyses that allow for triangulation of evidence using a different method.Studies using latent profile analysis will be considered only when they are supported by clear theoretical and a priori hypotheses, demonstrate the stability of the profile solution (e.g., through cross-validation), and provide evidence of external validation.- ISSN: 0191-8869

Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review
Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review (TR-E) is differentiated from its sister journals (TR-A, TR-B, TR-C, TR-D, and TR-F). As reflected in their title, the commonality between these journals is the focus on ‘Transportation,’ but TR-E is differentiated by specializing in ‘Logistics.’ Of course, it is widely accepted that transportation is undoubtedly one of the most critical components of logistics. TR-E publishes informative and high-quality articles drawn from across the spectrum of logistics components. The related research studies are multi-disciplinary and include (i) hard/ classic logistics research, such as transportation, material handling, packaging, warehousing, inventory, and handling, and so on (ii) soft logistics research by adding Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts, tools, and philosophies to the classic logistics, such as sustainability, risk and disruption, circular economy, and artificial intelligence. There are no limitations to the research methods utilized. Therefore, various research methods can be used, such as analytical (e.g., operations research techniques including game theory, queuing theory, dynamic programming, linear, integer, and nonlinear programming), quantitative and qualitative empirical research (e.g., time series, regression, microeconomics), simulation, mixed research methods (e.g., combining surveys and case studies with quantitative data analysis), experimental research (e.g., controlled experiments, lab experiments, and field experiments), case studies (e.g., in-depth analysis), machine learning, artificial intelligence and network analysis (e.g., graph theoretic concept).- ISSN: 1366-5545

Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization
The Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization is devoted to theoretical and empirical research concerning economic decision, organization and behavior and to economic change in all its aspects. Its specific purposes are to foster an improved understanding of how human cognitive, computational and informational characteristics influence the working of economic organizations and market economies and how an economy's structural features lead to various types of micro and macro behavior, to changing patterns of development and to institutional evolution. Research with these purposes that explore the interrelations of economics with other disciplines such as biology, psychology, law, anthropology, sociology, finance, marketing, political science, and mathematics is particularly welcome. The journal is eclectic as to research method; systematic observation and careful description, simulation modeling and mathematical analysis are all within its purview. Empirical work, including controlled laboratory experimentation that probes close to the core of the issues in theoretical dispute is encouraged.- ISSN: 0167-2681

Preferred journal of the American Society of Crime Lab Directors (ASCLD).Forensic Chemistry publishes high quality manuscripts focusing on the theory, research and application of any chemical science to forensic analysis. The scope of the journal includes fundamental advancements that result in a better understanding of the evidentiary significance derived from the physical and chemical analysis of materials. The scope of Forensic Chemistry will also include the application and or development of any molecular and atomic spectrochemical technique, electrochemical techniques, sensors, surface characterization techniques, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, chemometrics and statistics, and separation sciences (e.g. chromatography) that provide insight into the forensic analysis of materials.Evidential topics of interest to the journal include, but are not limited to, fingerprint analysis, drug analysis, ignitable liquid residue analysis, explosives detection and analysis, the characterization and comparison of trace evidence (glass, fibers, paints and polymers, tapes, soils and other materials), ink and paper analysis, gunshot residue analysis, synthetic pathways for drugs, toxicology and the analysis and chemistry associated with the components of fingermarks. The journal is particularly interested in receiving manuscripts that report advances in the forensic interpretation of chemical evidence.Technology Readiness Level: When submitting an article to Forensic Chemistry, all authors will be asked to self-assign a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) to their article. The purpose of the TRL system is to help readers understand the level of maturity of an idea or method, to help track the evolution of readiness of a given technique or method, and to help filter published articles by the expected ease of implementation in an operation setting within a crime lab. Four TRL levels are available:TRL 1: Basic research phenomenon observed or basic theory proposed, which may find application to a proposed area of forensic chemistry. Examples include one-off instruments that make unique measurements, the study of chemical properties of explosives, and the first reporting of some basic measurements or observations from chemical analysis.TRL 2: Development of a theory or research phenomenon that has a demonstrated application to a specified area of forensic chemistry, including supporting data. Examples include the first application of an instrument or technique to a forensic application, or the application of a model or theory to simulated casework. Examples include models that predict weathering of ignitable liquids, new or improved separation or measurement capabilities, or development of chemometric tools with an aim to better describe the significance of chemical evidence.TRL 3: Application of an established technique or instrument to a specified area of forensic chemistry with measured figures of merit, some measurement of uncertainty, and developed aspects of intra-laboratory validation. TRL 3 methods should be practicable on commercially available instruments and results of the first inter-laboratory trials can also be reported as TRL 3 communications.TRL 4: Refinement, enhancement, and inter-laboratory validation of a standardized method ready for implementation in forensic laboratories. New knowledge in this area can be immediately adopted or used in casework. Examples are case reports, fully validated methods or protocols that have undergone or are currently being considered by a standard development organization, measures of error rates and database development and reporting. The assignments of the TRL will be proposed by the authors during initial submission. TRL levels will be reviewed by the editors and peer reviewers and displayed in the final article online. Collections of the four TRLs can be found here.Open Data: Forensic Chemistry encourages authors to deposit their datasets publically available on Mendeley Data (data.mendeley.com/)...- ISSN: 2468-1709

Sports Economics Review
Sports Economics Review (SER) welcomes submissions that deal with various economic topics in the sports industry or manuscripts that use sports as a laboratory to study human behavior. The journal views sports economics as a part of economic science and welcomes sport related contributions from fields such as behavioral economics, development economics, finance, game theory, health economics, industrial organisation, labor economics, political economics, public economics, sports analytics, and urban economics. The journal is open to different research methodologies that are employed in general interest economic journals, as long as they are relevant to the topic and employed rigorously. Literature reviews that integrate findings from many studies are also welcome, but they should synthesize the literature in a useful manner and provide a substantial contribution beyond what the reader could get by simply reading the abstracts of the cited papers. In empirical work, it is important that the results are not only precise but also economically relevant. In addition, empirical papers are expected to follow a clear identification strategy. Papers should not be unnecessarily long. Short articles are also welcome. We acknowledge the importance of replication in science, thus we welcome manuscripts that try to replicate previous findings, as long as these manuscripts demonstrate the need for replication.- ISSN: 2773-1618

Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science
The Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science is the official journal of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).Contextual Behavioral Science is a systematic and pragmatic approach to the understanding of behavior, the solution of human problems, and the promotion of human growth and development. Contextual Behavioral Science uses functional principles and theories to analyze and modify action embedded in its historical and situational context. The goal is to predict and influence behavior, with precision, scope, and depth, across all behavioral domains and all levels of analysis, so as to help create a behavioral science that is more adequate to the challenge of the human condition.Contextual behavioral science is a strategic approach to the analysis of human behavior that proposes the need for a multi-level (e.g. social factors, neurological factors, behavioral factors) and multi-method (e.g., time series analyses, cross-sectional, experimental) exploration of contextual and manipulable variables relevant to the prediction and influence of human behavior. The journal considers papers relevant to a contextual behavioral approach including:Empirical studies (without topical restriction - e.g., clinical psychology, psychopathology, education, organizational psychology, etc.)Brief reports on preliminary, but still impactful findings (e.g., pilot studies, cross-sectional research on psychological flexibility processes)Reviews (e.g., scoping reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses)Concep... and philosophical papers on contextual behavioral sciencePractical innovations (descriptions of practical innovation applying contextual behavioral science)Commentaries... reportsWe are particularly interested in:Papers that examine theories and interventions based in CBS (e.g., process-based therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, relational frame theory, functional analytic psychotherapy, compassion-focused therapy, etc...) to novel research areas with rigorous methodologies. We currently are especially interested in increasing the number of published articles on basic CBS research and translational research.Papers bridging different approaches (e.g., connecting behavioral approaches with cognitive views; or neurocognitive psychology; or evolutionary science)Papers that challenge a contextual behavioral science approach from an informed perspectivePapers that are written from the perspective of and/or report data collected from diverse, underrepresented, and minoritized individuals. The journal welcomes papers written by researchers, practitioners, and theoreticians from different intellectual traditions. What is distinctive is not a narrowly defined theory or set of applied methods but whether the methodology, conceptualization, or strategy employed is relevant to a contextual behavioral approach.JCBS has been receiving an increasing number of submissions that compete for limited space for publication. A notable portion of submissions to JCBS are cross-sectional survey studies on psychological flexibility-related processes (e.g., validating these measures, testing their relation to mental health and related outcomes). In order to balance research on these topics with other important methodologies and research areas of CBS, we are unfortunately only able to accept especially innovative and rigorous research using cross-sectional survey designs, and typically only when submitted as a brief report.Special IssuesThe Journal welcomes suggestions for Special Issues. Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology
The Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology (JADP) publishes scholarly empirical research relating to human development. The Journal focuses on two key concepts: human development and application of knowledge. Human development refers to the transformations and changes that occur during the life cycle and the processes or mechanisms which influence individuals' behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and moral development. Application refers to how the knowledge gained from research can be applied to the improvement of developmental outcomes, such as through policy making or within educational, clinical, and social settings. Consequently, papers published in JADP explicitly articulate how findings can be applied to improving the lives of children, youth and young adults. JADP publishes studies on a broad array of social issues and contexts (e.g., differences in cultural, racial, social and learning contexts) that impact human development.- ISSN: 0193-3973

Clearly and Accessibly: Encourage authors to present research in a way that is understandable and meaningful to a broad international audience of researchers, practitioners, and policy makers.Through these aims, IJER maintains its commitment to publishing high-quality, internationally significant research while embracing innovation, diversity, and the evolving challenges in education globally. What can papers be about?Papers can be on any contemporary educational topic of international interest. Reports of high quality educational research involving any discipline and methodology will be welcome. However, the journal's aim is to ensure it publishes high quality research that could potentially inform research, policy, or practice beyond the context in which the original work is undertaken. The research reported does not have to be comparative in the traditional sense of comparing aspects of education in different countries or cultures; a paper may report research carried out in just one location or cultural setting. Work can be drawn from any context or research paradigm. All papers, even those that focus on only one country's case study, must engage with broader theories and discussions in the field. We are specifically looking for originality and clear significance to an international readership. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal must have the following features:Explanation of how the question addressed in the paper relates to the existing literature;Explicitl... stated research question;Detailed description of the research design and data analysis;Discussion of the results (a) in light of the existing literature, (b) highlighting how the results inform research, policy, or practice beyond the context in which the original work is undertaken; All advice listed in the 'Instructions for Authors' must be followedAs well as papers, which report the findings of empirical research, papers, which provide critical literature reviews of research on specific educational topics of international interest, will also be welcome. Literature reviews need to explain in great detail the systematic procedures used for the selection of the literature included in the analysis.Types of publicationThe International Journal of Educational Research publishes research papers on specific topics of interest to international audiences of educational researchers. Unsolicited proposals for guest editorships or special issues will also not be accepted. How are papers assessed?Papers (including those in special issues) are subject to a peer review process, using an international panel of researchers who are expert in relevant fields. Referees are asked to judge the quality of research and also the relevance and accessibility of a paper for an international audience. The journal uses double anonymized peer reviews, meaning any reviewers are unable to establish the author(s) of a manuscript. For special issues, referees are asked first to judge the quality of a proposal, and then to judge the entire contents of a draft issue. More detailed information on this process is provided under Guide for Authors.- ISSN: 0883-0355

International Review of Economics Education
The International Review of Economics Education is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting innovations in economics education with potential for widespread adoption and demonstrable impact on student outcomes. We consider all areas of teaching, learning, curriculum and module design and assessment as suitable for innovation, experimentation, and evaluation. The journal welcomes contributions in the following areas:Theoretical and empirical papers with carefully studied impact on student outcomes. Student outcomes are broadly defined and may include grades (marks) and their distributions, student progression, continuation and degree outcomes, employability skills and other skills embedded in the nationally recognised descriptors of economics degree learning outcomes, as well as motivation and feedback on the work of their instructors. Student outcomes also relate to inputs, such as effort, motivation, teaching quality, and institutional resources, so studies relating those are also welcome. Student outcomes are also known to vary across students with diverse characteristics. Therefore, in an environment of a widening access and participation of students in economics education, evaluating outcomes across the distribution of student observables is also welcome. We particularly encourage comparative and international studies that generate insights from different educational systems, institutional contexts, and student populations.Teaching and curriculum innovations, including new pedagogical approaches, classroom activities, instructional resources, curriculum design, and technology-enhanced learning. For example, active learning techniques, use of media and popular culture, simulations, experiments, games, case studies, and other experiential learning approaches, tools that enhance quantitative, statistical, and data literacy, and the integration of educational technologies, including digital learning environments and artificial intelligence. The innovations we seek to publish extend existing knowledge in the field of economics education and can demonstrate scalability across the economics education profession. Scalability typically involves a pedagogical design which makes adoption appealing across many modules and institutions. While we value scalability, we also welcome carefully evaluated small-scale interventions carrying broader lessons for economics educators. To enhance critical dialogue within our field, we also welcome theoretical, conceptual, and critical contributions that advance understanding of how economics is learned, taught and assessed, including the design, implementation, validity, reliability, and evaluation of assessment and feedback practices that enhance student learning in economics. To this end, we welcome studies of challenges, institutional constraints, and unintended consequences that inform the adoption of educational innovations, so that future generations of economics educators do not experience similar challenges and are aware of the risks involved with certain innovations. Literature reviews that advance understanding of economics education research and identify priorities for future scholarship, including reviews of trends in economics education research and reviews of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, or educational technologies.IREE welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research. Regardless of methodology, submissions should make a clear contribution to the scholarship of economics education, be grounded in the relevant literature, employ methods appropriate to the research question, and discuss the implications for educational practice. The journal particularly values work that combines scholarly rigor with practical relevance, enabling educators to improve teaching, learning, and assessment in economics. It is our belief that research in economics education should be replicable. Therefore, if authors used data to deliver their results, we strongly encourage submissions with prior ethical approvals, as well as replication packages referenced in the submitted manuscripts. Please note that the journal’s scope is the enhancement of economics education in higher education. It is not an ‘education economics’ journal, nor is it an outlet for economics research into the effects of education on health or labour markets more generally.- ISSN: 1477-3880

Journal of Business Venturing Design
Journal of Business Venturing Design publishes original works that advance both theoretical understanding and the practice of entrepreneurship. JBVD does so by regarding entrepreneurship as a form of design to be studied as a design science. Entrepreneurship as design is broadly defined as the iterative and uncertainty facing process of establishing a new "business" (or "opportunity", "venture", "startup" etc.), typically by working with various intermediate artifacts. Studying entrepreneurship as a design science means that the ultimate, if not immediate, goal of all contributions should be instrumental, i.e. the development of knowledge or tools that improve the art and skill of entrepreneurial design. In this sense, entrepreneurship is similar to other design sciences such as engineering and medicine. And much like these fields draw on the physical and life sciences, entrepreneurship (and management more generally) in part relies on explanatory and descriptive knowledge produced in various social science disciplines. There is also potential in interdisciplinary contributions that relate entrepreneurial design to insights from other design science disciplines, such as product design, service design, organization design, software design, and information systems design.Importantly, the focus on instrumental knowledge does not imply that explanatory or descriptive research will not be published. It does, however, mean that such works should explicitly aim toward the development of more instrumental knowledge or tools. To illustrate, explanatory research seeking a general causal mechanism on the form 'X causes A under condition B' can be turned into an instrumental design principle if X can be manipulated with predictable results. Similarly, descriptive research seeking patterns in the details of specific situations may be turned in to design principles by gradually producing better understandings of how elements of the situation relate to one and other. The instrumentality of design science highlights its ethical dimension. As opposed to purely descriptive or explanatory sciences, design science more directly helps manipulate the world in particular directions, suggesting that design scientists have a potential moral responsibility for the knowledge and tools developed.Constraine... by the above, JBVD publishes high-quality conceptual and empirical works - regardless of disciplinary origins or methodological orientation - that advance our knowledge of entrepreneurship as design. Suitable topics include, but are not limited to, the following:Conceptual issues such as: how entrepreneurship can be theorized as a form of design; how constructs, models, and methods for design can be developed from explanatory and descriptive research (e.g. explanatory causal mechanisms and descriptive case studies); how the materiality of design artifacts influences entrepreneurial practice; how design science research can be validated; how the ethical dimensions of entrepreneurial design research can be understood; and how general design principles relate to specific practices.Empirical issues such as: studies proposing new constructs, models, and methods for design; tests and refinements of proposed constructs, models, and methods (e.g. using simulations, longitudinal case studies, field-experiments, and action research); descriptive studies of the use of specific tools and artifacts in entrepreneurial practice (e.g. business model frameworks, software development kits, product prototypes, pitches). In addition to conceptual and empirical research that advance our knowledge of entrepreneurship as design, such advancement can also take the form of more immediately useful tools. In addition to traditional papers, JBVD will therefore publish work that introduces and evaluates tools and methods grounded in design science research. These can include, but are not limited to, the following kinds:Business analysis frameworks (e.g. industry analysis tools, business model templates).Business design algorithms or heuristics (e.g. methods for entrepreneurial experimentation and transformation).Peda... materials (e.g. examples of specific tools and materials for teaching entrepreneurial design in different contexts).- ISSN: 2667-2774
