The International Journal of Technology Law and PracticeThe Computer Law and Security Review (CLSR) is an international journal of technology law and practice providing a major platform for publication of high quality research, policy and legal analysis within the field of IT law and computer security. It has been published six times a year since 1985 under its founding Editor, Emeritus Professor Steve Saxby, who retired in 2018 after handing editorship over to Professor Sophie Stalla-Bourdillon. It is the leading journal of its kind in Europe and provides a robust peer reviewed medium and policy forum for dissemination of knowledge and discussion, supported by powerful Editorial and Professional Boards.CLSR is accessible to a wide range of academics, researchers, research institutes, companies, libraries and governmental and non-governmental organisations in both the public and private sectors as well as professionals in the legal, IT and related business sectors in more than 100 countries. It is available on ScienceDirect, the world's foremost provider of electronic scientific information to more than 16 million subscribers.CLSR authors come from leading academics, international specialists, legal professionals and early career researchers from many of the most renowned research centres and universities in the world. Contributors are also located in the major international law firms, specializing in technology law, who provide essential comment and analysis built upon widespread experience of applying IT law in practice. CLSR further welcomes policy analysis from legal specialists, the judiciary, professional and business organisations operating in IT and from those with regulatory responsibilities for information and communications technology from both the public and private sectors as it regularly contributes to consultations undertaken by the EU, Council of Europe and other bodies. Papers that reflect the outcomes of funded research e.g. from Research Councils or EU projects are welcomed. Submissions are welcomed from any part of the world. CLSR is looking for papers within the subject area that display good quality legal analysis, new lines of legal thought or policy development that go beyond mere description of Law or policy, however accurate that may be.CLSR publishes refereed academic and practitioner papers on a wide range of legal topics such as Internet law, telecoms regulation, intellectual property, cyber-crime, surveillance and security, e-commerce, outsourcing, data protection, ePrivacy, EU and public sector ICT policy, and many others. In addition it provides a regular update on European Union developments, and national news from more than 20 jurisdictions in both Europe and the Pacific Rim.All papers are then peer reviewed by relevant experts and feedback is given whether or not a paper is accepted or returned for further work. Submissions will normally be between 6,000-15,000 words although papers of a higher word length may also be submitted subject to negotiation with the Editor. The Editor's policy is to try and accommodate contributions of all sizes above the minimum threshold where length is dictated by the needs of the subject matter.Opinion pieces concerning policy, legislation or case law of a minimum of 2000 words and upwards will also be considered but these will appear as comment and not as feature articles.Please note that CLSR strongly encourages PhD students, who have not yet obtained their degree, not to submit papers unless accompanied by confirmation that the supervisor has seen the manuscript and is recommending it for publication. If the supervisor's approval can be provided, asserting that the draft manuscript has been reworked and developed with the journal's aims and expectations in mind, then it will be accepted for review.

Computers & Education aims to increase knowledge and understanding of ways in which digital technology can enhance education, through the publication of high-quality research, which extends theory and practice. The Editors welcome research papers on the pedagogical uses of digital technology, where the focus is broad enough to be of interest to a wider education community.We do not publish small-scale evaluations of specific software/systems in specialist domains or particular courses in individual institutions (unless the findings have broader relevance that is explicitly drawn out in the paper). Papers that include discussions of the implementation of software and/or hardware should focus on the context of use, the user/system interface, usability issues and evaluations of the user experience and impacts on and particularly on the implications for learning and teaching. Computers as a delivery platform only is insufficient. Detailed information on implementation architecture should NOT be included in the paper, but may be provided via URLs.We welcome systematic review papers and meta-analyses that include clear research questions, a framework of analysis, and conclusions that reflect the aims of the paper. See PRISMA guidelines for further advice.Authors should take care to refer to and abide by the author guidelines. Papers that do not address the criteria outlined in the author guidelines will be returned without review. Computers & Operations Research is a privileged forum for state-of-the-art work exploring the theory and practice of Operations Research (OR) intertwined with advanced computational methodologies. The journal publishes high-quality innovative and impactful research articles in theories, modeling, algorithms, and applications of Operations Research.Since its first volume was printed in 1974, the journal has promoted different OR application areas that include but are not limited to Transportation, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management. The journal has also triggered new trends in OR models and techniques such as Data Analytics, Decision-making under Uncertainty, and Behavioral OR. A strong focus has been put on recent advances in Statistics, Data Science, and Machine Learning.The form, content, and language of the articles should take cognizance of the breadth of applications covered by OR and of the consequent fact that many readers may not be experts in the scientific field to which the computer and operations research techniques are applied by the author. Methods; Machine Learning and Data Science. The journal also publishes state-of-the-art surveys and best practice guides in Analytics, Operations Research, and Management Science. These articles are printed in a special section, “Surveys in Operations Research and Management Science”. Submissions can focus on theory or applications of OR/MS and can be of several types, including but not limited to: 1. Results that are considered standards by experts in the community but which have not been documented in textbooks; 2. Standard results which have been, in some way, streamlined, such as, for example, new proof techniques leading to more elegant derivations of known results; 3. New developments in methodology or new application areas ('hot topics'). A survey should be critical with respect to the existing knowledge and should focus on computational and algorithmic aspects. The journal publishes focused issues on topics of interest related to its editorial mission. Such issues typically contain between six and twelve articles. They are put together within an eighteen-month period under the responsibility of one or several guest editors. The winning and the runner-up papers will also be highlighted on the website in the “Editor’s Choice” section, staying there for one year.Further Information for authorsIt is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the submitted manuscripts are written using proper English, that possible grammatical or spelling errors are eliminated and that the text conforms to correct scientific English. Submissions that do not satisfy these criteria may be rejected without being sent to reviewers.All full-length research papers published in the journal must demonstrate constructive algorithmic complexity and extensive numerical experiments. Numerical illustrations (examples) are not sufficient: the numerical experiments must have a scientific value of their own, particularly with comparisons to other approaches. The use of real-world data is also valued. In CAOR, (meta)Heuristics other than well-established algorithms such as evolutionary algorithms or ant colony optimization must be described in metaphor-free language. This is a way to ensure that they are immediately comparable to existing algorithms. The Harvard style is adopted in the journal for the bibliography. Authors should consider this while preparing their manuscripts, especially when preparing tables and charts involving bibliography references.The highly innovative contributions targeted by the journal prevent it from endorsing papers that present long and unsolvable formulations for variants or extensions of existing problems and then resort to a well-established approximate method to find approximate solutions. Computers in Human Behavior is a scholarly journal dedicated to examining the use of computers from a psychological perspective. Original theoretical works, research reports, literature reviews, software reviews, book reviews and announcements are published. The journal addresses both the use of computers in psychology, psychiatry and related disciplines as well as the psychological impact of computer use on individuals, groups and society. The former category includes articles exploring the use of computers for professional practice, training, research and theory development. The latter category includes articles dealing with the psychological effects of computers on phenomena such as human development, learning, cognition, personality, and social interactions. The journal addresses human interactions with computers, not computers per se. The computer is discussed only as a medium through which human behaviors are shaped and expressed. The primary message of most articles involves information about human behavior.
