    Slavic Literatures is a peer-reviewed academic periodical that publishes literary studies in English and in Russian. The journal combines special and regular issues devoted to Slavic literatures. Many journal contributions are devoted to Russian literature, but we also regularly publish and emphatically welcome research devoted to Belarusian, Bosnian, Croatian, Czech, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Polish, Ukrainian, and other Slavic literatures.Publishe... since 1971, the journal has served as publication outlet for cardinal names in Slavic literary and cultural studies. The journal today continues to refine and broaden the field, by uniting English- and Russian-language scholarship from Central, Eastern, and Western Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia; by combining the work of talented newcomers with that of leading academics; and by welcoming methodological and disciplinary innovation. All methods and viewpoints are welcomed, provided they contribute new, original or challenging insights to the field, or use insights from young research paradigms to complicate existing thinking in Slavic literary studies.

Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism Education (JoHLSTE) is the leading international, peer-reviewed educational journal for this subject grouping. Its aims are to:a) Promote, enhance and disseminate research, good practice and innovation in all aspects of higher education in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism and Events to its prime audience including teachers, researchers, employers, and policy makers.b) Encourage greater understanding, links and collaboration across its constituent fields. JoHLSTE is designed to have maximum impact through it being available on-line, fully archived and peer-reviewed.JoHLST... is divided into seven sections: Editorial; Academic Papers; Practice Papers, Perspectives, Comments and Rejoinders, Research Notes and Reports and Education Resource Reviews.(1) The Editorial addresses items of contemporary interest on an ad-hoc basis.(2) For the Academic Papers section JoHLSTE invites full-length manuscripts (around 8,000 words) from a variety of disciplines. These papers will be subject to double blind peer review. Subjects covered include the broad areas of knowledge, policy, curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment, resources, employability, careers and quality. Both conceptual and empirical approaches are welcome. Manuscripts may take the form of research papers, case studies, literature reviews, critical evaluations, new methodologies and action research. Purely descriptive accounts are not considered suitable.(3) The Practice Papers section encourages shorter contributions (around 3,000 words) from practicing teachers and others involved in the delivery of education and training including; employers, educational managers, staff developers and library and careers guidance staff. In particular, it encourages reflection on, and critical review of good (and bad) practice with a view to sharing experiences and promoting a "learning profession".(4) The Perspectives section offers a platform (around 1,000-2,000 words) for contributors to make an initial mapping of the issues surrounding a recent development in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism education. As such it can act as an early stimulant for further research.(5) Comments and Rejoinders offers an opportunity for readers to comment on articles published in previous editions of the journal.(6) Research Notes and Reports, which are shorter report-style pieces and commentaries, will also be considered for publication.(7) Education Resource Reviews offer provide critiques of resources related to student learning or effective teaching. A wide range of resources may be reviewed, including textbooks, websites, CD-ROMs, videos, databases and articles.

    The Extractive Industries and Society is the one journal devoted to disseminating in-depth analysis of the socio-economic and environmental impacts of mining and oil and gas production on societies, both past and present. It provides a platform for the exchange of ideas on a wide range of issues and debates on the extractive industries and development, bringing together research undertaken by an interdisciplinary group of social scientists in academia, government, the NGO community and industry. Topics covered by the journal include environmental management at mines and rigs; Corporate Social Responsibility and community development; the environmental and social impacts of artisanal and small-scale mining in developing countries; corruption and the extractive industries; industry reform; the donor community and the extractive industries; climate change and fossil fuel extraction; and taxation and foreign direct investment in the sector. Submissions which draw upon experiences from both developed and developing countries are invited from across the social sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, field reports, critical reviews, conference reports, book reviews and short correspondences.

The journal brings together leading contributions in the field and promotes interdisciplinary debates in international relations, political science, and other related fields. While we welcome articles with an empirical focus or that center on policy implications, all research published in the journal is expected to engage with and advance the subdiscipline's conceptual, methodological, and theoretical literature. We encourage contributions drawn from diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives, covering all scales of inquiry, and from scholars in all parts of the world.
