Journal of Experimental Social Psychology
The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology (JESP) aims to publish articles that extend or create conceptual advances in social psychology. As the title of the journal indicates, we are focused on publishing primary reports of research in social psychology that use experimental or quasi-experimental methods, although not every study in an article needs to be experimental. We also would like to encourage submissions explaining methodological or statistical considerations that are relevant to the kind of research published here, and that are usable by the typical person who carries out and evaluates social psychology research. Finally, we encourage authors to submit reports of replication studies in experimental social psychology that meet the high standards at JESP (for guidance, see Brandt, IJzerman et al., 2014).We want to emphasize that, unless its methods, theory and evidence are all exceptionally strong, typically one research study leaves many questions unanswered and this is an important reason why papers that include more than one study are preferred by JESP editors.Journal of Experimental Social Psychology values inclusion and diversity across research, through its various lenses, be it authorship, reviewers, or editors. The Journal of Substance Use & Addiction Treatment (JSAT) features original research; systematic reviews and meta-analyses; and commentaries and symposia/conference proceedings that advance the care of substance use disorders (including alcohol, illicit and prescription drugs, cannabis and nicotine) and their consequences.JSAT values high-quality empirical research relevant to the care of persons with substance use problems by scholars, clinicians, and scientists in all disciplines, in any setting. In general, JSAT articles should address policies, systems of care, assessment techniques, and intervention approaches that have clear relevance for addiction treatment, harm reduction, and recovery support. JSAT is particularly interested in addiction health services research, including the design, organization, delivery, implementation, accessibility, quality, cost, effectiveness, equity, patient experience, and workforce characteristics of interventions for persons with substance use problems in all service settings.

Aggression and Violent Behavior
Aggression and Violent Behavior is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes high-quality research syntheses, as well as quantitative empirical studies focused on a wide range of topics related to the field of aggression and violent behavior. Papers encompass a large variety of issues, populations, and domains, including child and youth violence (e.g., bullying, gang violence, juvenile offending), family violence (e.g., intimate partner violence, child abuse), violence in different settings (e.g., workplace, school, prisons), digital violence (e.g., cyberbullying, cyberhate), and different types of violent victimization (e.g., child, adult).Regarding research methodologies, research syntheses are preferably systematic reviews, including scoping reviews, evidence-based gap maps and meta-analyses. Narrative reviews and theory-building manuscripts are considered if they demonstrate exceptional value in terms of novelty and depth, and in instances where a systematic review is not feasible or appropriate. In the case of empirical studies, the logical connection between the theoretical framework, conducted analyzes and empirically based argumentation is emphasised. Longitudinal designs and representative or large convenience (e.g., resembling the population, collected in several institutions) samples are appreciated. Cross-sectional studies using cutting-edge methodology can also be considered.Manuscrip... that articulate disparate orientations will be welcomed, given that this journal is cross-disciplinary and cross-theoretical. Papers will emanate from numerous disciplines including criminology, psychology, psychiatry, education, law, sociology, anthropology, genetics, social work, ethology, and physiology. Papers describing the study of aggression in mainstream, criminal, and psychopathological populations are acceptable. Reviews of analog investigations of aggression and animal models will be considered if the contribution is likely to lead to significant movement in the field. The emphasis, however, will be on innovativeness of presentation and clarity of thinking.

Addictive Behaviors
Addictive Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality human research on addictive behaviors and disorders since 1975. The journal accepts submissions of full-length papers and short communications on substance-related addictions such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs and nicotine, and behavioral addictions involving gambling and technology. We primarily publish behavioral and psychosocial research, but our articles span the fields of psychology, sociology, psychiatry, epidemiology, social policy, medicine, pharmacology and neuroscience. While theoretical orientations are diverse, the emphasis of the journal is primarily empirical. That is, sound experimental design combined with valid, reliable assessment and evaluation procedures are a requisite for acceptance. However, innovative and empirically oriented case studies that might encourage new lines of inquiry are accepted as well. Studies that clearly contribute to current knowledge of etiology, prevention, social policy or treatment are given priority. Scholarly commentaries on topical issues, systematic reviews, and mini reviews are encouraged. We especially welcome multimedia papers that incorporate video or audio components to better display methodology or findings.Studies can also be submitted to Addictive Behaviors' companion title, the open access journal Addictive Behaviors Reports, which has a particular interest in 'non-traditional', innovative and empirically-oriented research such as negative/null data papers, replication studies, case reports on novel treatments, and cross-cultural research.

Official Publication of Society for Nutrition Education and BehaviorThe Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior (JNEB), the official peer-reviewed journal of the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior, since 1969, serves as a global resource to advance nutrition education and behavior related research, practice, and policy. JNEB publishes original research, as well as papers focused on emerging issues, policies and practices broadly related to nutrition education and behavior. These topics include, but are not limited to, nutrition education interventions; theoretical interpretation of behavior; epidemiology of nutrition and health; food systems; food assistance programs; nutrition and behavior assessment; and public health nutrition. Strategies to implement nutrition education, such as policy, systems, and environmental approaches or technological advances are also considered. Skill development within interventions, such as food procurement and culinary expertise; physical activity partnered with nutrition education; and strategies to reduce food insecurity are valued.In addition to Research Articles and Briefs, JNEB accepts Intervention Methods, Questionnaire Development Methods, Perspectives, Reports, Meta-analysis and Systematic Reviews, and GEMS (Great Educational Materials that have an evaluative component).
