    The Journal of the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP)The Journal of School Psychology (JSP) publishes original empirical articles and critical reviews of the literature on research and practices relevant to school settings across the full range of methodologies that address culture, context, and quality standards (e.g., race, ethnicity, and culture; qualitative, quantitative). JSP presents research that advances the science and practice of school psychology on intervention mechanisms and approaches; prevention and implementation; schooling effects on the development of social, cognitive, mental health, academic, and achievement outcomes; assessment; consultation; and social justice as a process and outcome.   • Addictive Behaviors

    Addictive Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality human research on addictive behaviors and disorders since 1975. The journal accepts submissions of full-length papers and short communications on substance-related addictions such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs and nicotine, and behavioral addictions involving gambling and technology. We primarily publish behavioral and psychosocial research, but our articles span the fields of psychology, sociology, psychiatry, epidemiology, social policy, medicine, pharmacology and neuroscience. While theoretical orientations are diverse, the emphasis of the journal is primarily empirical. That is, sound experimental design combined with valid, reliable assessment and evaluation procedures are a requisite for acceptance. However, innovative and empirically oriented case studies that might encourage new lines of inquiry are accepted as well. Studies that clearly contribute to current knowledge of etiology, prevention, social policy or treatment are given priority. Scholarly commentaries on topical issues, systematic reviews, and mini reviews are encouraged. We especially welcome multimedia papers that incorporate video or audio components to better display methodology or findings.Studies can also be submitted to Addictive Behaviors' companion title, the open access journal Addictive Behaviors Reports, which has a particular interest in 'non-traditional', innovative and empirically-oriented research such as negative/null data papers, replication studies, case reports on novel treatments, and cross-cultural research.

The journal addresses both the use of computers in psychology, psychiatry and related disciplines as well as the psychological impact of computer use on individuals, groups and society. The former category includes articles exploring the use of computers for professional practice, training, research and theory development. The latter category includes articles dealing with the psychological effects of computers on phenomena such as human development, learning, cognition, personality, and social interactions. The journal addresses human interactions with computers, not computers per se. The computer is discussed only as a medium through which human behaviors are shaped and expressed. The primary message of most articles involves information about human behavior. Therefore, professionals with an interest in the psychological aspects of computer use, but with limited knowledge of computers, will find this journal of interest.

The journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of anxiety disorders included in the current diagnostic classification system as well as on disorders formerly categorized as anxiety disorders (e.g., obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder). Topics of interest related to anxiety disorders include behavioral, cognitive and biological assessments; diagnosis and classification; neuroscience and genetics; sociocultural considerations; mechanisms and comorbidities; epidemiology; psychosocial and psychopharmacologica... treatments; prevention; implementation science; theoretical advancement; and policy. Methodologies can include clinical trials, experimental paradigms, intensive longitudinal designs, mixed methods or qualitative approaches, among others. Review articles that adhere to rigorous, recommended guidelines, are preferably pre-registered, and significantly contribute to advancing knowledge in the field are also appropriate for submission. Theoretical advancements are also appropriate for submission.The mission of the journal is three-fold. One goal is to promote translational work in anxiety disorders research, so that we can effectively bridge the gap between basic science, clinical research, implementation, practice, and policy. Another goal is to encourage interdisciplinary research integrating perspectives from diverse fields (e.g., psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, genetics, social work, public health) and from different stakeholders (e.g., researchers, providers, funders, policy makers) to foster a comprehensive understanding of and interventions for anxiety disorders.     Neuropsychologia is an international interdisciplinary journal devoted to experimental and theoretical contributions that advance understanding of human cognition and behavior from a neuroscience perspective. The journal will consider for publication studies that directly link brain function with cognitive processes, including perception, attention and consciousness, action and motor control, executive functions and cognitive control, memory, language, and emotion and social cognition. Submission of papers using methodologies such as functional and structural neuroimaging, cognitive electrophysiology, and brain stimulation to significantly advance cognitive and psychological theory is strongly encouraged.Neuropsyc... has a long history of publishing lesion-deficit studies, and these remain highly appropriate for the journal. Animal studies are also welcome, provided they have a direct and explicitly specified impact on understanding the brain basis of human cognition and behavior. Studies that employ a purely behavioral approach in neurologically healthy participants are not appropriate for the journal unless the findings have a direct and significant bearing on the understanding of the neural mechanisms or systems supporting cognition and behavior. Studies of clinical populations that are primarily descriptive or intended to elucidate a clinical disorder, or that evaluate a therapeutic intervention, are not appropriate for the journal. Special issues and Review Papers are published regularly with the aim of providing authoritative surveys of topics of major interest.

    The journal welcomes full-length and short letter papers in the area of behavioral finance and experimental finance. The focus is on rapid dissemination of high-impact research in these areas.Behavioral and Experimental Finance represent lenses and approaches through which we can view financial decision-making. The aim of the journal is to publish high quality research in all fields of finance, where such research is carried out with a behavioral perspective and / or is carried out via experimental methods. It is open to but not limited to papers which cover investigations of biases, the role of various neurological markers in financial decision making, national and organizational culture as it impacts financial decision making, sentiment and asset pricing, the design and implementation of experiments to investigate financial decision making and trading, methodological experiments, and natural experiments.Both empirical and theoretical papers which cast light on behavioral and experimental topics are welcomed. Papers can be either full-length or short letter (2,500 words maximum) format. In addition, a section is reserved for "Ready-to-use-softwa... tools", where programmable codes that automate experimental and behavioral tests are made available.The journal is also open to review and survey papers on any behavioral finance or experimental finance area; where such papers provide an overview and synthesis of present research. Young researchers, such as advanced graduate students, are encouraged to contact the editor to propose such survey articles and receive initial feedback on the proposal.Further welcomed are replication experimental finance studies of recently published high impact research in this area. These papers should be written as short letter papers, and will be assessed with a focus on methodological appropriateness and with a view to speedily disseminating the findings.
