Se ha introducido dos nuevos capítulos. Uno de ellos dedicado a la Farmacología ocular y otro dedicado al tratamiento farmacológico de la migraña en el que se incluyen los nuevos antagonistas de CGRP y su uso profiláctico para la migraña. La nueva edición incluye acceso al e-book en español en el que se incluye contenido adicional (casos clínicos y preguntas de autoevaluación) también en español.
