Such managerial decisions for example concern choices between technologies, allocation of resources to technological innovation initiatives, organizational change to enable technological transformation. Here the focus is on research on the management of technologies rather than technologies that support managerial decisions. Research that informs decisions in technology management at the organizational and industrial level should be submitted to the Management of Technology bureau of TFSC. Third, research efforts are needed to examine and evaluate the multifaceted effects of technological advancements on society, organizations, and the environment. This area of study builds on contributions that seek to understand the direct and indirect consequences of technology implementation, ranging from its economic implications to social changes, without forgetting about environmental effects. The ultimate goal is to provide assessments that can inform policymakers, businesses, and the public about the benefits and risks associated with the deployment of technological innovations. This field of research also emphasizes the importance of tracking the impact of technologies over time and across different settings. Moreover, this focus can involve not just assessing the outcomes of technology implementation, but also the processes by which technologies are integrated and adopted. Research in this domain should be submitted to the Impact and Evaluation of Technology bureau of TFSC.Fourth, developing appropriate institutional structures, regulatory frameworks and decision-making processes is essential for ensuring that innovative technologies equitably address societal challenges while managing associated risks. This implies understanding how different approaches can effectively facilitate and guide the diffusion and deployment of technologies, encompassing studies of regulatory innovation, policy experimentation, and governance models that can adapt to rapidly evolving technologies. It asks how different stakeholders - including government bodies, technical experts, industry players, civil society organizations, and the public - can be effectively engaged in technology governance processes. Manuscripts focused on understanding how governance of emerging technologies can foster sociotechnical progress while protecting public interests should be submitted to the Technology Governance and Public Policy bureau of TFSC.During the submission process, authors are responsible for carefully selecting the bureau in which their study should be assessed for potential publication in TFSC. We also encourage submissions taking a more holistic approach to the study of technology and its impact on society, by covering thematic areas that are relevant for more than one bureau. It is also important to highlight that manuscripts looking into individual, organizational, or societal factors that impact technological development are out of scope. Moreover, TFSC does not publish research that focuses on social change only, unless authors examine this change through the lens of specific technological developments. All manuscripts published in TFSC are expected to make substantial theoretical and practical contributions. Practical contributions can be translated into recommendations for management practice but also as policy implications. These contributions need to be explicitly spelled out and well-rooted in the findings of your study. To substantially advance our understanding of technology and its impact on society, submissions have to be rooted inan effective, consistent, and current theoretical basis. An effective theoretical underpinning enables researchers to frame the subject matter under investigation. For a theory base to be consistent, all ideas developed in the manuscript need to build on a theoretical framework with matching ontological and epistemological basic assumptions. The theoretical underpinning is current if authors effectively leverage state-of-the-art knowledge provided in scientific publications. TFSC will not publish manuscripts that lack a strong theoretical contribution, methodological development, and practical implications. Behavioural Processes is dedicated to the publication of high-quality original research on animal behaviour from any theoretical perspective. It welcomes contributions that consider animal behaviour from behavioural analytic, cognitive, ethological, ecological and evolutionary points of view. This list is not intended to be exhaustive, and papers that integrate theory and methodology across disciplines are particularly welcome.The quality of research and focus on behavioural processes are the sole criteria for acceptance. Behavioural Processes considers both papers investigating basic behavioural phenomena and behavioural studies of more applied significance. Papers reporting solely on human behaviour may be considered for publication if they relate closely to non-human research within the journal's remit. Brain and Cognition is a forum for the integration of the neurosciences and cognitive sciences. B&C publishes peer-reviewed research articles, theoretical papers, case histories that address important theoretical issues, and historical articles into the interaction between cognitive function and brain processes. The focus is on rigorous studies of an empirical or theoretical nature and which make an original contribution to our knowledge about the involvement of the nervous system in cognition. Coverage includes, but is not limited to memory, learning, decision making, emotion, perception, movement, music or praxis in relationship to brain structure, function or development. Scholarly articles on environmental influences—social, physical, catastrophic—on aspects of brain and cognition are also welcome.Published articles will typically address issues relating some aspect of cognitive function to its neurological substrates with clear theoretical import, formulating new hypotheses or refuting previously established ones. Clinical papers are welcome if they raise issues of theoretical importance or concern and shed light on the interaction between brain function and cognitive function. Corpus linguistics (CL) is a rapidly growing area of research worldwide, and CL techniques and approaches to large scale textual data analysis are being adopted and extended in a wide range of contexts. Corpus research is no longer confined primarily to the study of linguistics and to generalised language description but is now applied in diverse fields, such as forensic linguistics, social policy studies, food studies, anthropology, writing development studies, translation and interpreting, and the analysis of corporate and government communications.With this broadening of the range of applications of corpus methods and frameworks has come a need for a journal in which studies and reports can be brought together for an audience of researchers and practitioners that are interested in the range of applications of corpus linguistics. The role of Applied Corpus Linguistics is to provide a forum for further theorisation of corpus data analysis techniques, for the sharing of case studies and of new methods, and to advance the development and consolidation of applied corpus linguistics as a major force in social research.The journal welcomes contributions in the form of full length research articles, discussion papers, short technical papers and book reviews. While the emphasis is on applications rather than on theorisations, it is expected that all studies will be adequately theorised. As the intended readership extends beyond corpus linguistics, however, the focus must be on application and on communication of content to a non-specialist reader. Papers reporting technical innovations and novel data visualisation methods (for demonstrably effective communication) are encouraged.It is recognised that 'applied' is a term that defies easy definition. Archaeological Research in Asia presents high quality scholarly research conducted in between the Bosporus and the Pacific on a broad range of archaeological subjects of importance to audiences across Asia and around the world. An Official Journal of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC)Psychology of Sport and Exercise is an international forum for scholarly reports in the psychology of sport and exercise, broadly defined. The journal is open to the use of diverse methodological approaches. To be considered for publication, manuscripts must make a substantive theoretical or methodological contribution. Manuscripts that will be considered for publication include results from high quality empirical research, reviews, meta-analyses, reports of professional practice (which need to demonstrate academic rigour and go beyond mere description), registered reports, and commentaries concerning already published PSE papers. Authors should adhere to recognised reporting guidelines for research (e.g., PRISMA guidelines for reviews and meta-analyses; TIDieR guidelines for interventions; CONSORT statement for randomised trials). Registered reports undergo a two-phase review process in which study rationale and methodology are considered prior to the research being undertaken. Authors are welcome to pre-register their study with an external organization (e.g. OSF), but it is not required. Authors interested in submitting replications of published studies need to contact the Editors-in-Chief before they start their replication. Quantitative studies should be theoretically informed and empirical research justified with a-priori power estimates provided (drawing on effects sizes from previous meta-analyses and/or specific papers with designs close to the one authors use). Research in Autism (REIA) publishes high quality empirical articles and reviews that contribute to a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at all levels of description; genetic, neurobiological, cognitive, and behavioral. The primary focus of the journal is to bridge the gap between basic research at these levels, and the practical questions and difficulties that are faced by autistic individuals and their families, as well as carers, educators and clinicians. While we recognize the importance of questionnaires for the measurement of individual differences, we encourage their link to experimental and behavioural measures.
