Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology
The Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology (JADP) publishes scholarly empirical research relating to human development. The Journal focuses on two key concepts: human development and application of knowledge. Human development refers to the transformations and changes that occur during the life cycle and the processes or mechanisms which influence individuals' behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and moral development. Application refers to how the knowledge gained from research can be applied to the improvement of developmental outcomes, such as through policy making or within educational, clinical, and social settings. Consequently, papers published in JADP explicitly articulate how findings can be applied to improving the lives of children, youth and young adults. JADP publishes studies on a broad array of social issues and contexts (e.g., differences in cultural, racial, social and learning contexts) that impact human development.

Early Childhood Research Quarterly
Early Childhood Research Quarterly (ECRQ) publishes research on early childhood education and development from birth through 8 years of age. ECRQ publishes only empirical research (quantitative or mixed methods) on issues of interest to early childhood development, theory, and educational practice.The journal also occasionally publishes significant, rigorous meta-analytic reviews of research. It will no longer publish non-quantitative reviews, such as systematic or scoping reviews. Learning and Motivation
Learning and Motivation publishes research that advances fundamental understanding of learning, cognition, and motivation in humans and animals. The journal prioritizes studies offering clear empirical and/or theoretical contributions, characterized by methodological rigor, conceptual innovation, and relevance to both the scientific community and broader society.We welcome manuscripts addressing topics such as associative and non-associative learning, applied behavior analysis, relational frame theory, self-determination theory, cognitive and motivational mechanisms, comparative and evolutionary approaches, neural and biological underpinnings, and the roles of emotion and affect in learning and motivation.Both basic and applied research are welcome, provided that applied studies, in areas such as clinical and educational settings, advance theoretical understanding and offer substantive theoretical or empirical insights into learning and/or motivation, beyond the description of phenomena or evaluation of interventions. Interdisciplinary work drawing on neuroscience, computational modeling, developmental, or evolutionary frameworks is encouraged when it enhances understanding of learning and motivation.The journal publishes a range of article types, including integrated series of experiments, original empirical reports, theoretical and review papers, short reports, and commentaries. Experimental studies may employ group-based or well-controlled single-case designs, while reviews may include meta-analytic syntheses. Qualitative work is considered, typically within a mixed-methods framework.Learning and Motivation does not consider purely methodological papers, clinical case studies, or work focused solely on educational or organizational interventions. Contemporary Educational Psychology
Contemporary Educational Psychology publishes empirical research from around the globe that substantively advances, extends, or re-envisions the ongoing discourse in educational psychology research and practice. Publishable manuscripts must be grounded in a rich, inclusive theoretical and empirical framework that gives way to critical and timely questions facing educational psychology. Further, general and specific questions should be closely linked to the selected methodological approach and authors should include actionable implications for education research and practice. In all cases, accepted manuscripts will advance cutting edge theoretical and methodological perspectives that address critical and timely education questions.The journal welcomes rigorously conducted qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods contemporary empirical research within educational psychology. An International & Interdisciplinary JournalInfant Behavior & Development is an international and interdisciplinary journal, publishing high-quality work on infancy (prenatal to 36 months of age) in the areas of cognitive development, emotional development, perception, perception-action coupling, prenatal development, motor development, and socialization using a variety of methodologies (e.g., behavioral, physiological, computational). Research following up children beyond 36 months may be appropriate, as long as the main focus is on behavior and development in infancy (0-36 months). The Journal of the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP)The Journal of School Psychology (JSP) publishes original empirical articles and critical reviews of the literature on research and practices relevant to school settings across the full range of methodologies that address culture, context, and quality standards (e.g., race, ethnicity, and culture; qualitative, quantitative). JSP presents research that advances the science and practice of school psychology on intervention mechanisms and approaches; prevention and implementation; schooling effects on the development of social, cognitive, mental health, academic, and achievement outcomes; assessment; consultation; and social justice as a process and outcome. JSP emphasizes strengths-based perspectives of populations, multiple and interconnected ecologies (e.g., home, school, community) within which children learn and develop, research that actively and authentically involves school professionals, families, and community members; integration of critical theories; and author positionality in research. See also Elsevier Educational Research Programme home.Children and Youth Services Review is an international, multidisciplinary journal that focuses on disadvantaged or otherwise vulnerable children, young people, families and the systems designed to support them. The journal provides a forum for rigorous scholarship relevant to policies, interventions, programs and services intended to improve well-being. We invite original scholarly works including empirical research, methodological developments, theoretical perspectives, and practice and policy assessments related to services that address individual and societal factors that negatively affect the welfare of children, youth, and young adults ages 0 to 25 and their families. Submissions that acknowledge and engage with issues of racial equity and social justice in research design, intervention design, service delivery and outcomes are strongly encouraged.A host of substantive domains relevant to the welfare of youth, young adults, and their families will be considered. These domains include but are not limited to all forms of child maltreatment, exposure to violence, protective care, youth justice, poverty alleviation, educational disadvantage, community environments, peer relationships, distressed family dynamics and social-emotional wellbeing. Personality and Individual Differences
The Official Journal of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID)Personality and Individual Differences is primarily devoted to the publication of articles (experimental, correlational, theoretical, expository/review) which enhance our understanding of the structure of personality and other forms of individual differences, the processes which cause these individual differences to emerge, and their practical applications. Accessible methodological contributions are also welcome. The Editors invite papers that focus on the genetic, biological, and environmental foundations of individual differences, and possible interaction effects. While we recognize the importance of questionnaires for the measurement of individual differences, we encourage their link to experimental and behavioural measures. Ultimately the editors of PAID view human beings as bio-social organisms and that work on individual differences can be most fruitfully pursued by attending to both these aspects of our nature.We consider studies involving cross-sectional mediation/moderation analyses of self-reported data only when these directly test a theory.
