Entre las principales novedades, por un lado, cabe destacar la sustancial mejora en las ilustraciones, especialmente aquellas dedicadas a la fisiología gastrointestinal, así como la ampliación de la cobertura relativa a la fisiopatología, con un mayor número de correlaciones clínicas, incluidas las diferencias de género en la cardiopatía isquémica y la supuesta dependencia de la raza en los diferentes valores normales de TFG.
