The journal content is aimed at individuals in academia, government, and industry. Submissions of original research are invited that analyze issues of public policy, economics, social science, geography and finance in the areas of mining, non-fuel minerals, energy minerals, fossil fuels and metals.Examples of topics covered in the broad discipline of mineral economics include mineral market and price analysis, project evaluation, mining and sustainable development, mineral resource rents and the resource curse, mineral wealth and corruption, mineral taxation and regulation, strategic minerals and their supply, and the impact of mineral development on local communities and/or indigenous populations.Submissi... are also invited on related natural resource topics of interest and importance to the minerals and fossil fuel community, such as sustainability, topics from environmental economics related to mineral production and use, and socio-economic impacts of mineral production and use.The journal DOES NOT publish papers whose primary focus is on agriculture, forestry or fisheries.We aim to publish robust scientific work, so methods should be carefully described and data properly cited. Literature reviews are accepted as long as they provide meaningful insights and a clear contribution to the literature. Case studies are also accepted as long as they contribute to the debate and comprehension of issues of broader significance. Discussion and debate-focused articles without a significant research component are generally not accepted, but they could be considered at the discretion of the Editors.

As a peer-reviewed forum for interdisciplinary researchers and communities of researcher-practitio... the journal welcomes papers that represent a variety of theoretical perspectives. In particular, the journal is interested in papers that advance new and existing methodological approaches, and are innovative works on the theories, practices and possibilities of creativity and thinking skills research. Papers may relate to any age level and any settings: formal and informal, education and work-based as long as they connect to the learning and teaching, facilitation and/or practice teaching for thinking and/or creativity.While there is no universal agreement about the dimensions of thinking skills and creativity or their themes, debates and terms, we welcome methodological advancements and critiques that progress current thinking and stimulate developments about the naming and framing of boundaries and related fields of knowledge.The journal particularly welcomes several types of research article:Empirical studies which address critical issues in the future of learning and teaching, facilitation and practice, directly relevant to advancing thinking skills relevant to the enquiry and advancement of creativity;Critical reports of research practices and innovation in identifying major debates in advancing thinking skills and creativity;Synthetic reviews;New departures in methodological, theoretical and conceptual case studies.       Language Sciences seeks to provide an outlet for radical and innovative work that enlarges our view of language and languaging. It aspires to be the foremost forum for transdisciplinary research on linguistic behaviour and languaging. We encourage contributions that take a broad view of language and languaging as coordinative, affiliative, and integrational activities that enable human living. Language Sciences is likewise a forum for debates on metatheoretical, epistemological, and axiological issues in the study of language and languaging, broadly conceived. We encourage contributions that challenge the disciplinary boundaries with critical scrutiny of extant theories and methods in the language sciences, and with diversification of the manner in which the object of language studies is conceived and constructed. The vision of Language Sciences is to provide a fertile meeting ground for scholars from a host of disciplines, including (but not limited to) cognitive science, anthropology, biosemiotics, cultural studies, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and ecology.       Assessing Writing is a refereed international journal providing a forum for ideas, research and practice on the assessment of written language. Assessing Writing publishes articles, book reviews, conference reports, and academic exchanges concerning writing assessments of all kinds, including traditional ('direct' and standardised forms of) testing of writing, alternative performance assessments (such as portfolios), workplace sampling and classroom assessment. The journal focuses on all stages of the writing assessment process, including needs evaluation, assessment creation, implementation, and validation, and test development; it aims to value all perspectives on writing assessment as process, product and politics (test takers and raters; test developers and agencies; educational administrations; and political motivations). The journal is interested in review essays of key issues in the theory and practice of writing assessment.Assessing Writing embraces internationalism and will attempt to reflect the concerns of teachers, researchers and writing assessment specialists around the world, whatever their linguistic background. Articles are published in English and normally relate to the assessment of English language writing, but articles in English about the assessment of writing in languages other than English will be considered. While Assessing Writing frequently publishes articles about the assessment of writing in the fields of composition, writing across the curriculum, and TESOL (the teaching of English to speakers of other languages), it welcomes articles about the assessment of writing in professional and academic areas outside these fields.The scope of the journal is wide, and embraces all work in the field at all age levels, in large-scale (international, national and state) as well as classroom, educational and non-educational institutional contexts, writing and programme evaluation, writing and critical literacy, and the role of technology in the assessment of writing. Understanding the relationships between communication, digital technologies and organizations is an increasingly important and urgent societal and scholarly concern in many disciplinary fields.Information and Organization seeks to publish original articles on the relationships between digital technologies, communication, and organizations. It seeks a scholarly understanding that is based on empirical research and builds novel theoretical contributions. A particular focus of Information and Organization is to publish qualitative and interpretive research which adopts case studies, ethnography and in-depth longitudinal empirical studies, including critical theory and science and technology studies.Papers that provoke critical thinking on important subjects are welcomed, including articles that focus on research impact and contributions to knowledge in our special section (RICK).
