Journal of Luminescence is an interdisciplinary journal of research on the excited state processes on condensed matter. The journal provides a means of communication between scientists in different disciplines who share a common interest in the electronic excited states of molecular, ionic and covalent systems, whether crystalline, amorphous, or liquid. Submissions in the traditional areas of optical spectroscopy (absorption, magnetic circular dichroism, luminescence, Raman scattering, radiative & non-radiative relaxation) are welcome. Papers on applications (phosphors, scintillators, photochromism, electro- and cathodo-luminescence... radiography, bioimaging, solar energy, energy conversion, etc.) are also welcome if they present results of scientific, rather than only technological interests.The journal publishes topics including but not limited to: exciton and polariton dynamics, dynamics of localized excited states, energy and charge transport in ordered and disordered systems, vibronic interactions in electronic excited states, photophysics and photochemistry in condensed systems, excited state resonance, spin dynamics, hole burning, coherent processes in excited states, multiphoton processes, optical biostability and new techniques for the study of excited states.The journal does not accept submissions containing purely theoretical results not related to excited-state phenomena, reporting new measurements without contribution for understanding excited-state phenomena, or using luminescence spectroscopy to perform merely analytical chemistry or biochemistry procedures. It is the aim of this journal to bring together in one publication outstanding papers reporting new and original work in the following areas: (1) applications of solid-state physics and technology to electronics and optoelectronics, including theory and device design with appropriate experimental backup; (2) optical, electrical, morphological characterization techniques and parameter extraction with experimental application to real devices; (3) device fabrication and synthesis, including device-related new materials growth, electro-optical characterization and performance evaluation; (4) the physics and modeling of submicron and nanoscale microelectronic and optoelectronic devices, including processing, measurement, and performance evaluation; (5) modeling and simulation of solid-state devices and processes with appropriate experimental backup; (6) nanoscale electronic and optoelectronic devices for various applications, including photovoltaics, sensing, micro- and nano-mechanical (MEMS/NEMS) systems, quantum computation and communication.Import... Pure simulation papers are not considered. European Journal of Mechanics - B/Fluids
The European Journal of Mechanics - B/Fluids publishes papers in Eglish in all fields of fluid mechanics. Although investigations in well-established areas are within the scope of the journal, recent developments and innovative ideas are particularly welcome. Theoretical, computational and experimental papers are equally welcome. Mathematical methods, be they deterministic or stochastic, analytical or numerical, will be accepted provided they serve to clarify some identifiable problems in fluid mechanics, and provided the significance of results is explained. Similarly, experimental papers must add physical insight in to the understanding of fluid mechanics.Fast Tracks in the European Journal of Mechanics B/Fluids is a venue for short papers with significant original results across the full range of fluid mechanics. Papers submitted as Fast Tracks will receive priority handling by a dedicated editor, to ensure accelerated publication, and will appear in a dedicated EJMB/Fluids section of each journal volume. EJMB/Fluids will strive for the editorial process of two months from submission to publication. Manuscripts submitted to Fast Tracks must maintain the same standard of rigor and quality required of all papers submitted to the Journal; thus, papers in the fast-track process are not intended for the publication of minor incremental or cursory results.The European Journal of Mechanics B/Fluids welcomes extended Comments to published articles, to facilitate evaluation of each paper by the community, to stimulate scientific discussions and possibly highlight paths of future research. The Nuclear Data Sheets are current and are published monthly. They are devoted to compilation and evaluations of experimental and theoretical results in Nuclear Physics. The journal is mostly produced from Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File (ENSDF), a computer file maintained by the US National Nuclear Data Center.Nuclear Structure Data: Evaluated nuclear structure data for A>20.
