An Official Clinical Practice Journal of the AGA InstituteThe mission of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) is to provide readers with a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the diagnostic, endoscopic, interventional, and therapeutic advances in cancer, inflammatory diseases, functional gastrointestinal disorders, nutrition, absorption, and secretion.This peer-reviewed journal includes original articles as well as scholarly reviews, with the goal that all articles published will be immediately relevant to practice of the specialties of gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, the journal includes invited key reviews and articles on endoscopy/practice-b... technology, health-care policy, and practice management. Multimedia offerings include images, video abstracts, and podcasts. CGH also provides updates and commentary via Facebook and Twitter.CGH is ranked 7th out of 93 journals in the gastroenterology and hepatology category on the 2021 Journal Citation Reports©, published by Clarivate Analytics, and has an Impact Factor of 13.576. On average, authors receive decisions on their manuscripts in less than three weeks. CGH has an acceptance rate of 12% and is circulated to 20,300 individuals and institutions worldwide.

The mission of Gastroenterología y Hepatología is to cover a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the latest advances in pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and bile ducts, making it an indispensable tool for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, internists and general practitioners, offering in-depth reviews and updates on issues relating to the specialty. In addition to the rigorously selected, systematically peer-reviewed manuscripts published in the research sections (research articles, scientific letters, editorials, and letters to the editor), the journal also contains other important sections, such as review articles in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy, as well as clinical decision-making support papers, consensus documents and clinical guides from the most prominent scientific societies. The publication is the official journal of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology (AEG) and the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH). The journal accepts articles in Spanish and English. The journal is included in Medline/Pubmed, Science Citation Index Expanded and SCOPUS.La misión de Gastroenterología y Hepatología es dar cobertura a una amplia gama de temas de gastroenterología y hepatología clínicas, incluidos los avances más recientes en patología del tubo digestivo, hígado, páncreas y conductos biliares, lo que la convierte en una herramienta indispensable para gastroenterólogos, hepatólogos, internistas y médicos generalistas, ofreciendo revisiones exhaustivas y actualizaciones de temas relacionados con la especialidad. Además de los manuscritos con revisión científica externa sistemática, rigurosamente seleccionados, que se publican en las secciones de investigación (artículos de investigación, comunicaciones científicas, editoriales y cartas al director), la revista también contiene otras secciones destacadas, tales como artículos de revisión de gastroenterología, hepatología y endoscopia, artículos que facilitan la toma de decisiones clínicas, y guías clínicas y de consenso de las principales sociedades científicas. Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hepatology (JCEH) is an international peer-reviewed journal of hepatology and publishes six issues in a year. JCEH publishes outstanding basic and clinical papers on all aspects of liver diseases, including both human and animal studies. JCEH is directed to gastroenterologists, hepatologists, liver transplant surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, and others involved in the research and treatment of a broad range of liver diseases.The journal accepts original articles on clinical or laboratory research in the field of liver diseases and review articles on topics of current interest (mainly by invitation). In addition, the journal features articles of educational value to postgraduate students such as 'Hepatology Quiz' and 'What is your diagnosis?', 'Liver Transplantation Forum', 'Hepatology Elsewhere' and 'From Bench to Bedside'.
