Annals of Hepatology (AoH) is an international, open access journal published bi-monthly with funds from the Fundación Clínica Médica Sur. It is the official journal of the Mexican Association of Hepatology (AMH), the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH), the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL) and the Czech Society of Hepatology (CSH). AoH publishes editorials, opinions, concise reviews, original articles, brief reports, letters to the editor, news from affiliated associations, clinical practice guidelines and summaries of congresses in the field of Hepatology.Topics covered by AoH include alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, biliary diseases, drug-induced liver injury, genetic liver diseases, NAFLD/NASH and viral hepatitis (HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, HEV). Our journal seeks to publish articles on basic clinical care and translational research focused on preventing rather than treating the complications of end-stage liver disease.
The mission of Gastroenterología y Hepatología is to cover a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the latest advances in pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and bile ducts, making it an indispensable tool for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, internists and general practitioners, offering in-depth reviews and updates on issues relating to the specialty. In addition to the rigorously selected, systematically peer-reviewed manuscripts published in the research sections (research articles, scientific letters, editorials, and letters to the editor), the journal also contains other important sections, such as review articles in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy, as well as clinical decision-making support papers, consensus documents and clinical guides from the most prominent scientific societies. The publication is the official journal of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology (AEG) and the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH). The journal accepts articles in Spanish and English. JCEH publishes outstanding basic and clinical papers on all aspects of liver diseases, including both human and animal studies. JCEH is directed to gastroenterologists, hepatologists, liver transplant surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, and others involved in the research and treatment of a broad range of liver diseases.The journal accepts original articles on clinical or laboratory research in the field of liver diseases and review articles on topics of current interest (mainly by invitation).
