Annals of Hepatology (AoH) is an international, open access journal published bi-monthly with funds from the Fundación Clínica Médica Sur. It is the official journal of the Mexican Association of Hepatology (AMH), the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH), the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL) and the Czech Society of Hepatology (CSH). AoH publishes editorials, opinions, concise reviews, original articles, brief reports, letters to the editor, news from affiliated associations, clinical practice guidelines and summaries of congresses in the field of Hepatology.Topics covered by AoH include alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, biliary diseases, drug-induced liver injury, genetic liver diseases, NAFLD/NASH and viral hepatitis (HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, HEV). Our journal seeks to publish articles on basic clinical care and translational research focused on preventing rather than treating the complications of end-stage liver disease.

An Official Clinical Practice Journal of the AGA InstituteThe mission of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) is to provide readers with a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the diagnostic, endoscopic, interventional, and therapeutic advances in cancer, inflammatory diseases, functional gastrointestinal disorders, nutrition, absorption, and secretion.This peer-reviewed journal includes original articles as well as scholarly reviews, with the goal that all articles published will be immediately relevant to practice of the specialties of gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, the journal includes invited key reviews and articles on endoscopy/practice-based technology, health-care policy, and practice management. Multimedia offerings include images, video abstracts, and podcasts. CGH also provides updates and commentary via Facebook and Twitter.CGH is ranked 7th out of 93 journals in the gastroenterology and hepatology category on the 2021 Journal Citation Reports©, published by Clarivate Analytics, and has an Impact Factor of 13.576. On average, authors receive decisions on their manuscripts in less than three weeks. CGH has an acceptance rate of 12% and is circulated to 20,300 individuals and institutions worldwide.

In addition to the rigorously selected, systematically peer-reviewed manuscripts published in the research sections (research articles, scientific letters, editorials, and letters to the editor), the journal also contains other important sections, such as review articles in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy, as well as clinical decision-making support papers, consensus documents and clinical guides from the most prominent scientific societies. The publication is the official journal of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology (AEG) and the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH). The journal accepts articles in Spanish and English.
