Sacará de dudas y apuros a los investigadores (como consta que sucedió con ediciones previas) y abrirá a los alumnos horizontes apasionantes en la investigación biomédica. Como siempre, se opta por un planteamiento muy práctico de los métodos cuantitativos en la investigación y este libro se leerá mejor con las manos en el teclado. Cada procedimiento se basa en un ejemplo numérico simple, que permite hacer cálculos sencillos. Esos mismos datos se usan para que el lector vea cómo se realiza el análisis con paquetes estadísticos estándar y pueda interpretarlos correctamente.
