World Development Perspectives
The multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the study and promotion of international developmentWorld Development Perspectives is a multi-disciplinary journal of international development and a companion title to the respected World Development . It seeks to explore ways of improving human well-being by examining the performance and impact of interventions designed to address issues related to: poverty alleviation, public health and malnutrition, agricultural production, natural resource governance, globalization and transnational processes, technological progress, gender and social discrimination, and participation in economic and political life. Above all, we are particularly interested in the role of historical, legal, social, economic, political, biophysical, and/or ecological contexts in shaping development processes and outcomes.We welcome contributions that offer constructive ideas and analysis, and highlight the lessons to be learned from the experiences of different nations, societies, and economies. World Development Perspectives recognizes 'development' as a process of change at and across multiple scales, involving a diverse range of actors at each scale. Keeping in mind this diversity, our objective is to build a rigorous understanding of the interactions between the relevant contextual factors and specific development interventions in explaining development outcomes. Research in Economics
Established in 1947, Research in Economics is one of the oldest general-interest economics journals in the world and the main one among those based in Italy. The purpose of the journal is to select original theoretical and empirical articles that will have high impact on the debate in the social sciences; since 1947, it has published important research contributions on a wide range of topics.A summary of our editorial policy is this: the editors make a preliminary assessment of whether the results of a paper, if correct, are worth publishing. If so one of the associate editors reviews the paper: from the reviewer we expect to learn if the paper is understandable and coherent and - within reasonable bounds - the results are correct.We believe that long lags in publication and multiple demands for revision simply slow scientific progress. Our goal is to provide you a definitive answer within one month of submission. We give the editors one week to judge the overall contribution and if acceptable send your paper to an associate editor. We expect the associate editor to provide a more detailed evaluation within three weeks so that the editors can make a final decision before the month expires.In the (rare) case of a revision we allow four months and in the case of conditional acceptance we allow two months to submit the final version. In both cases we expect a cover letter explaining how you met the requirements. For conditional acceptance the editors will verify that the requirements were met. In the case of revision the original associate editor will do so. If the revision cannot be at least conditionally accepted it is rejected: there is no second revision.- ISSN: 1090-9443

It is primarily a scientific journal, but submissions from scholars in the humanities are also encouraged. Environmental Science & Policy
Environmental Science & Policy advances research in the intersections between environmental science, policy and society. The journal invites scholarship within this broad thematic that fits with one or more of the following four focal areas: Studies of the relationship between the production and use of knowledge in decision making; Studies of the relation between science and other forms of environmental knowledge, including practical, local and indigenous knowledge; Analyses of decision making practices in government, civil society, and businesses and the ways that they engage environmental knowledge; or Studies that present actionable environmental research with a clear description of how it responds to specific policy directives and the pathways by which this research is informing (or could inform) decision-making. Research can address a wide number of environmental issues, such as climate change, food systems, biodiversity loss, human and ecological well-being, resource use- and extraction, land use change, and sustainability more generally. The journal aspires to achieve an appropriate balance between perspectives from the global North as well as the global South and welcomes discussions of (environmental) justice, equity and inclusion. The journal is particularly interested in cutting edge developments in inter- and transdisciplinary work on co-production; arts-based research; integrated nexus and landscape approaches; the trade-offs and synergies between environmental issues and policies; innovations in integrated assessment, monitoring and evaluation; and transitions and transformative change.Editorial Policy: Submitted articles can offer empirical analysis and can also advance new theory, conceptual frameworks or other innovations. To be considered for publication, articles should fit with the aims and scope of the journal. This means that they should address the relation between environmental science and knowledge, policy and society. To be considered, environmental research articles must go beyond simply stating potential societal and policy relevance. Submitted articles should be of international relevance and well embedded in relevant scholarly conversations and debates, and they should consider the scholarship that has been published in the journal. They should provide a compelling objective and specify how they advance the state of the knowledge beyond the current state of the art. In-depth case studies or local issues may be considered if articles clearly and sufficiently articulate their wider international significance.The journal will consider the following article types: research papers, reviews, perspectives, and letters to the editor. Research in Autism
Research in Autism (REIA) publishes high quality empirical articles and reviews that contribute to a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at all levels of description; genetic, neurobiological, cognitive, and behavioral. The primary focus of the journal is to bridge the gap between basic research at these levels, and the practical questions and difficulties that are faced by autistic individuals and their families, as well as carers, educators and clinicians. In addition, the journal encourages submissions on topics that remain under-researched in the field. We know shamefully little about the causes and consequences of the significant language and general intellectual impairments that are very common among the autism community. Even less is known about the challenges that autistic women face and less still about the needs of autistic individuals as they grow older. Medical and psychological co-morbidities and the complications they bring with them for the diagnosis and treatment of ASD represents another area of relatively little research. Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review (TR-E) is differentiated from its sister journals (TR-A, TR-B, TR-C, TR-D, and TR-F). As reflected in their title, the commonality between these journals is the focus on ‘Transportation,’ but TR-E is differentiated by specializing in ‘Logistics.’ Of course, it is widely accepted that transportation is undoubtedly one of the most critical components of logistics. TR-E publishes informative and high-quality articles drawn from across the spectrum of logistics components. The related research studies are multi-disciplinary and include (i) hard/ classic logistics research, such as transportation, material handling, packaging, warehousing, inventory, and handling, and so on (ii) soft logistics research by adding Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts, tools, and philosophies to the classic logistics, such as sustainability, risk and disruption, circular economy, and artificial intelligence.There are no limitations to the research methods utilized. Digital Applications in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage (DAACH) is an on-line, peer-reviewed journal which publishes innovative research, applications and projects related to digital technologies in archaeology and cultural heritage. Scholars can publish 3D digital models of the world's cultural heritage sites, monuments, and palaeoanthropologica... remains, accompanied by associated academic articles.The journal aims both to preserve digital cultural heritage models and to provide access to them for the scholarly community to facilitate the academic debate. DAACH offers scholars the opportunity of publishing their models online with full interactivity so that users can explore them at will. It is unique in that its focus is on the application of 3D modeling to cultural heritage. DAACH will provide full peer-review for all 3D models, not just the text, 2D renderings or video fly-throughs, and requires all models to be accompanied by metadata, documentation, and a related article, explaining the history of the subject and its state of preservation, as well as an account of the modeling project itself. The journal focuses on scholarship that either promotes the application of 3D technologies to the fields of archaeology, art and architectural history, and palaeoanthropology or uses 3D technology to make a significant contribution to the study of built structures, works of art or palaeoanthropologica... remains.The provision of a 3D model is not compulsory for an article to be published in this journal.- ISSN: 2212-0548
Progress in Planning
Progress in Planning is a multidisciplinary journal of research monographs with a global readership. It offers an outlet for extended papers in the field of planning. Each issue comprises a single monograph of between 20,000 and 35,000 words. The journal website also offers the opportunity to upload additional material including videos and graphical illustrations. We welcome papers on any aspect of spatial and environmental planning that make a contribution to planning scholarship. The journal is fully peer reviewed.
