Biomass, Biofuels and BioproductsAlgal Research is an international phycology journal covering all areas of emerging technologies in algae biology, biomass production, cultivation, harvesting, extraction, bioproducts, biorefinery, engineering, and econometrics. Algae is defined to include cyanobacteria, microalgae, macroalgae, and protists and symbionts of interest in biotechnology. The journal publishes original research and reviews for the following scope: algal biology, including but not exclusive to: phylogeny, biodiversity, molecular traits, metabolic regulation, and genetic engineering, algal cultivation, e.g. phototrophic systems, heterotrophic systems, and mixotrophic systems, algal harvesting and extraction systems, biotechnology to convert algal biomass and components into biofuels and bioproducts, e.g., nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, plastics, etc. algal products and their economic assessment.Papers in the latter topics should include characterization and analysis in support of such processes and technologies, for example: approaches to biorefinery and biomass characterization, sustainability assessments and analyses, such as techno-economic, life cycle, and resource assessments of systems and processes using algae as a main source of biomass.The journal will not consider manuscripts where the core concept is the experimental design (RSM, CCD or other) in the optimization of a process, or the biological activity of algae extracts without full characterization and identification of the compounds responsible for the bioactivity.Review articles, book reviews and commentaries should only be submitted after consultation with the editors.- ISSN: 2211-9264

Although the major emphasis is placed upon empirical research, methodological and theoretical papers as well as evaluative reviews of the literature will also be published. Research in Autism
Research in Autism (REIA) publishes high quality empirical articles and reviews that contribute to a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at all levels of description; genetic, neurobiological, cognitive, and behavioral. The primary focus of the journal is to bridge the gap between basic research at these levels, and the practical questions and difficulties that are faced by autistic individuals and their families, as well as carers, educators and clinicians. In addition, the journal encourages submissions on topics that remain under-researched in the field. We know shamefully little about the causes and consequences of the significant language and general intellectual impairments that are very common among the autism community. Even less is known about the challenges that autistic women face and less still about the needs of autistic individuals as they grow older. Medical and psychological co-morbidities and the complications they bring with them for the diagnosis and treatment of ASD represents another area of relatively little research. Economic psychology as a discipline studies the psychological mechanisms that underlie economic behavior. It deals with decisions (individual or interactive), preferences, judgments, and factors influencing these, as well as the consequences of judgments and decisions for economics and society. Studies in economic psychology usually relate to the individual decision maker's level, though sometimes also address household or group behavior.Historicall... economic psychology has developed as a branch of psychology, while behavioral economics has risen as a sub-field of economics. Consequentially, for example, rationality assumptions have been traditionally avoided in economic psychology. Lately, however these differences are disappearing. We welcome any behavioral economics study to the journal of economic psychology. Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment publishes original research on the environmental impacts of transportation, policy responses to those impacts, and their implications for the design, planning, and management of transportation systems. It covers broad aspects of the interaction between transportation and the environment, ranging from the environmental effects of a local transportation system to global implications of natural resource depletion and atmospheric pollution.The journal invites submissions of research papers that analyze broad environmental impacts from all existing and emerging modes of both passenger and freight transportation. Papers dealing with transportation infrastructure and the environment are also considered. The emphasis of the journal is on original scientific findings and innovative policy responses of a regulatory, planning, technical or fiscal nature. Articles should demonstrate generalizable policy and methodological relevance to research and practice. Submissions of an interdisciplinary nature are encouraged and should appeal to readers from a wide range of disciplines. TRD includes a section focusing on Disasters and Resilience with its own dedicated Section Editors. Transportation plays a critical role in the resilience of communities. Disasters are unexpected, low probability events which can overwhelm the capacity of systems to function and provide vital services supporting human health, environmental quality, and economic and social livelihoods. Aggression and Violent Behavior is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes high-quality research syntheses, as well as quantitative empirical studies focused on a wide range of topics related to the field of aggression and violent behavior. Papers encompass a large variety of issues, populations, and domains, including child and youth violence (e.g., bullying, gang violence, juvenile offending), family violence (e.g., intimate partner violence, child abuse), violence in different settings (e.g., workplace, school, prisons), digital violence (e.g., cyberbullying, cyberhate), and different types of violent victimization (e.g., child, adult).Regarding research methodologies, research syntheses are preferably systematic reviews, including scoping reviews, evidence-based gap maps and meta-analyses. Narrative reviews and theory-building manuscripts are considered if they demonstrate exceptional value in terms of novelty and depth, and in instances where a systematic review is not feasible or appropriate.
