Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics is an international journal integrating experimental, clinical and social studies on aging. The journal provides a medium for the publication of papers from the fields of experimental gerontology and clinical and social geriatrics. The principal aim of the journal is to facilitate the exchange of information between specialists in these three fields of gerontological research. Experimental papers dealing with the basic mechanisms of aging at molecular, cellular, tissue or organ levels will be published.Clinical papers will be accepted if they provide sufficiently new information or are of fundamental importance for the knowledge of human aging. Purely descriptive clinical papers will be accepted only if the results permit further interpretation. Papers dealing with anti-aging pharmacological preparations in humans are welcome. Papers on the social aspects of geriatrics will be accepted if they are of general interest regarding the epidemiology of aging and the efficiency and working methods of the social organizations for the health care of the elderly.- ISSN: 0167-4943

Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies
The focus of Transportation Research: Part C (TR_C) is high-quality, scholarly research that addresses development, applications, and implications, in the field of transportation systems and emerging technologies . The interest is not in the individual technologies per se, but in their ultimate implications for the planning, design, operation, control, maintenance and rehabilitation of transportation systems, services and components. In other words, the intellectual core of the journal is on the transportation side, not on the technology side. The integration of quantitative methods from fields such as operations research, control systems, complex networks, computer science, artificial intelligence are encouraged.Of particular interest are the impacts of emerging technologies on transportation system performance, in terms of monitoring, efficiency, safety, reliability, resource consumption and the environment. Papers may cover global, regional, national, or even local topics that are of wider policy significance, and of interest to international agencies, governments, public and private sector entities, local communities and non-governmental organisations. Within this broad spectrum, topics of particular interest include energy and environmental regulation, energy supply security, the quality and efficiency of energy services, the effectiveness of market-based approaches and/or governmental interventions, technological innovation and diffusion, and voluntary initiatives where the broader policy implications can be recognised. Learning and Individual Differences
Journal of Psychology and EducationLearning and Individual Differences is a research journal devoted to publishing articles of individual differences as they relate to learning within an educational context. The Journal focuses on original empirical studies of high theoretical and methodological rigor that make a substantial scientific contribution and advance our knowledge on individual differences as they relate to cognitive and/or non-cognitive features across diverse learning contexts. The Journal receives submissions from different fields such as psychology, educational sciences, and the learning sciences and welcomes interdisciplinary research.Learning and Individual Differences publishes original research. There are three types of original articles: Full length articles, brief reports, and multistudy reports. Full length articles should be no longer than 8000 words of primary text (not including abstract, educational relevance and implications statement, tables, figures, references, and other materials). Brief reports should be no longer than 4000 words of primary text (not including abstract, educational relevance and implications statement, tables, figures, references, and other materials). Multistudy reports should be no longer than 12000 words of primary text (not including abstract, educational relevance and implications statement, tables, figures, references, and other materials). Systematic reviews with or without meta-analysis should be no longer than 15000 words of primary text (not including abstract, educational relevance and implications statement, tables, figures, references, and other materials).The core criteria for whether a manuscript is published are its scientific rigor and the new knowledge that it adds to the existing body of knowledge. To this end, we are particularly looking for manuscripts that report on longitudinal data analyses, include data on diverse (in the best case representative) or underrepresented populations, and combine several sources of information such as self-report and objective performance data. Inclusion of power calculations where appropriate is considered an advantage. Manuscripts that don't meet these criteria such as studies that are cross-sectional (in particular when they report mediation analyses), stem from highly specific samples, and include only self-reports need to make a strong case on why they advance our knowledge to a sufficient level for inclusion in the Journal and have a higher likelihood of not being considered for publication in Learning and Individual Differences.- ISSN: 1041-6080
