    The focus of Transportation Research: Part C (TR_C) is high-quality, scholarly research that addresses development, applications, and implications, in the field of transportation systems and emerging technologies . The interest is not in the individual technologies per se, but in their ultimate implications for the planning, design, operation, control, maintenance and rehabilitation of transportation systems, services and components. In other words, the intellectual core of the journal is on the transportation side, not on the technology side. The integration of quantitative methods from fields such as operations research, control systems, complex networks, computer science, artificial intelligence are encouraged.Of particular interest are the impacts of emerging technologies on transportation system performance, in terms of monitoring, efficiency, safety, reliability, resource consumption and the environment. Submissions in the following areas of transportation are welcome: multimodal and intermodal transportation; on-demand transport; intelligent transportation systems; traffic and demand management; real-time operations; connected and autonomous vehicles; logistics; railways; resource and infrastructure management; aviation; pedestrians and soft modes.Special emphasis is given in open science initiatives and promoting the opening of large-scale datasets for papers published in TR_C that can support transferability and benchmarking of different approaches.   • Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review

    Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review (TR-E) is differentiated from its sister journals (TR-A, TR-B, TR-C, TR-D, and TR-F). As reflected in their title, the commonality between these journals is the focus on ‘Transportation,’ but TR-E is differentiated by specializing in ‘Logistics.’ Of course, it is widely accepted that transportation is undoubtedly one of the most critical components of logistics. TR-E publishes informative and high-quality articles drawn from across the spectrum of logistics components. The related research studies are multi-disciplinary and include (i) hard/ classic logistics research, such as transportation, material handling, packaging, warehousing, inventory, and handling, and so on (ii) soft logistics research by adding Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts, tools, and philosophies to the classic logistics, such as sustainability, risk and disruption, circular economy, and artificial intelligence.There are no limitations to the research methods utilized.     The Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) is the official journal of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis. The mission of JTH is to advance science related to the important medical problems of thrombosis, bleeding disorders and vascular biology through the diffusion and exchange of information and ideas within the international research community. The Journal publishes high quality, original research reports, state of the art reviews, brief reports, case reports, invited commentaries on publications in the Journal, forum articles, correspondence and announcements. Editors invite both fundamental and clinical contributions.These include basic manuscripts on blood coagulation and fibrinolysis, proteins and reactions, blood platelets, and the interaction of all these components with other biological systems such as, but not limited to, the vessel wall, blood cells, and invading organisms.     A Quarterly Review of Innovations in Post-secondary EducationThe Internet and Higher Education is a quarterly journal devoted to addressing contemporary issues and future developments related to Internet-enabled learning and teaching in higher education settings. It is a peer-reviewed journal intended to be a vehicle for scholarly presentation and dissemination of contributions significantly addressing innovative uses of Internet technology in learning and teaching, and reporting on research to demonstrate the effects of the Internet on the quality and/or the equity of learning and teaching in higher education contexts. The key findings must inform practices and/or policies, and contribute to the scholarship of Internet-enabled higher education learning and teaching. For example, research on topics such as MOOCs and professional development must have clear implications for individuals who teach and learn in higher education institutions.The journal is international and interdisciplinary, inviting contributions from across the globe and from various academic disciplines. Special issues are often devoted to specific emerging areas of study with guest editors assisting in the editorial process.The scope of the journal is broad in terms of the range of Internet-related issues and trends to be addressed in the higher education teaching and learning context. Learning, Culture and Social Interaction is an international journal devoted to the publication of high-quality research on learning within, and through, social practices. Its particular focus is on understanding how learning and development are embedded in social and cultural activities, and how individuals and collective practices are transformed through learning.Such understanding requires a careful analysis of learning in social context, and of the communicative processes involved. In-depth studies of interaction in schools (in various subjects and settings), universities, work-places, voluntary organizations, public agencies, hospitals, laboratories and other institutional settings will be welcome, as well as studies of informal settings such as everyday conversations, play settings, youth clubs, games and other cultural practices. Longitudinal studies of learning trajectories are relevant as are analyses of contexts and interactional patterns that hinder learning. The important point is that the relationships between cultures, social interaction and learners (and teachers) are in focus.The term 'interaction' includes forms of communication which take place through technologies of various kinds (telephone, the Internet, presentation technologies and so on). Interaction between people and artefacts, insofar as they address learning, are also relevant. Thus, the focus is not exclusively on face-to-face interaction. Also, issues of collective forms of learning characterizing systematic change, institutional development and communities of practice are central for the journal.The journal is multidisciplinary and invites scholars from relevant disciplines including psychology, anthropology, linguistics, sociology, communication studies and all areas of educational research.
