Applied Energy provides a forum for information on research, innovation, development, and demonstration in the areas of energy conversion and conservation, the optimal use of energy resources, analysis and optimization of energy processes, multi-energy systems, mitigation of environmental pollutants through sustainable, secure, efficient energy systems, and fair and efficient transition to a Net Zero future. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles, technology assessment, bibliographical studies, and perspective papers. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts which bridge the gaps between research, development, and implementation. The breadth of coverage ranges from innovative technologies and systems of both low-carbon and renewable energy to the economic industrial, commercial, and domestic use of energy with no or minor impact on the environment. Journal of Constructional Steel Research
The Journal of Constructional Steel Research provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in structural steel research and their applications in civil engineering. It is aimed not only at researchers but also at those likely to be most affected by research results, i.e. designers and fabricators. Original papers of a high standard dealing with all structural engineering aspects of steel and metal structures including theoretical and experimental research on the behaviour and strength of elements, assemblages, connections and material properties are considered for publication. Submissions substantially concerned with the strength of the concrete component in steel-concrete composite members, including shear stud connections, may not suit the journal. Submissions on pipelines do not fall within the journal's scope.Those presenting research findings in a form suitable for practical use are especially welcome.
