Progress in Nuclear Energy is an international review journal covering all aspects of nuclear science and engineering especially applicable to nuclear energy. In keeping with the maturity of nuclear fission power, articles on various technical aspects of nuclear power plants including safety, siting and environmental issues are encouraged, as are those associated with economics, public policy, and fuel management. However, studies of new physics phenomena and engineering design and analysis tools and innovations will remain an important aspect of the journal's scope. Articles published in Progress in Nuclear Energy are either of a review nature or present new material in more depth. They are aimed at researchers and technically oriented managers working in the nuclear energy field.Please note the following: PNE seeks high quality innovative research papers which are medium to long in length.
