Percevoir et comprendre la parole du malentendant pour conduire une réhabilitation, impose des connaissances approfondies anatomophysiologique... phonétiques et acoustiques en lien avec des connaissances perceptives, mais aussi relevant du champ des neurosciences, dont la caractérisation des réseaux neuronaux impliqués dans le traitement de la parole chez le sujet normo-entendant, mais aussi malentendant. L’originalité de l’ouvrage présenté est qu’il a été rédigé pour les audioprothésistes, mais qu’il est d’intérêt pour tous les professionnels de l’audiologie (dont les médecins oto-rhino-laryngolog... et les orthophonistes).
