Revista de Psicodidáctica is a six-monthly journal for teachers and researchers, published since 1996, founded and directed by Alfredo Goñi Grandmontagne for twelve years. The journal was first published on-line in 2010. Over recent years it has gradually increased its impact factor in various databases, both in the Spanish and in the international scopes. The Journal publishes scientific works conducted in accordance with the strictest scientific principles which contribute to the advance of scientific knowledge in the field in which psychology and didactics meet and overlap. In particular, it focuses on the meeting of educational psychology and the didactics of different subjects (language, literature, mathematics, social science, experimental science, physical expression, musical expression and plastic expression, etc.).

SSM - Mental Health

SSM - Mental Health (SSM-MH) provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for the dissemination of social science research on mental health and behavioral health. SSM - Mental Health shares the same general approach to manuscripts as its companion title, Social Science & Medicine. The journal takes a broad view of the field of mental and behavioral health, especially welcoming interdisciplinary papers from across the Social Sciences and allied areas. We publish original research articles (both empirical and theoretical), reviews, position papers, and commentaries on mental health issues, to inform current research, policy, and practice in all areas of common interest to social scientists, health practitioners, and policy makers. We also publish Series, a unique format which combine 2-3 related articles around a similar theme or context. The journal publishes material relevant to any aspect of mental health and behavioral health from a wide range of social science disciplines (anthropology, sociology, psychology, psychiatry, epidemiology, implementation science, population health science, and public health), and material relevant to the social sciences from any of the professions concerned with mental health, health care, clinical practice, and health policy. We encourage material that is motivated by a theoretical framework and of general interest to an international readership. The three key areas of SSM-MH are: Implementation Science and Intervention Research Medical Anthropology and Critical Social Science Psychiatric Epidemiology and Population Mental Health Science Topics and approaches of particular relevance to the journal include: interdisciplinary methods and theory; social determinants of mental health and disparities in mental health; mixed-methods research; methodological notes; replication studies of novel mental health interventions; psychiatric epidemiology; and research on flourishing, resilience, and well-being. SSM-MH seeks to maintain the highest standards of peer-reviewed excellence, as well as to provide a forum for debate in the field of social sciences and mental health.

Official Journal of the World Sleep Society and International Pediatric Sleep Association Sleep Medicine has an open access companion journal Sleep Medicine: X with a specific scope and topic, but the same Editorial Board and peer-review process. Sleep Medicine aims to be a journal no one involved in clinical sleep medicine can do without. A journal primarily focussing on the human aspects of sleep, integrating the various disciplines that are involved in sleep medicine: neurology, clinical neurophysiology, internal medicine (particularly pulmonology and cardiology), psychology, psychiatry, sleep technology, pediatrics, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, and dentistry. The journal publishes the following types of articles: Reviews (also intended as a way to bridge the gap between basic sleep research and clinical relevance); Original Research Articles; Full-length articles; Brief communications; Controversies; Case reports; Letters to the Editor. Specific features include: Hot topic series: These focus series present four to six invited review articles, written by excellent experts in the field. The series address major topics of sleep medicine, e.g. sleep related breathing disturbances, insomnia, new technologies in sleep medicine etc.). Each paper focuses on most recent developments in pathophysiology, diagnostics and clinics of various facets of the general topic. Special issues: These series welcome individual submissions of original articles around a general topic (e.g. pediatric sleep medicine in Europe). Papers can be submitted in a defined time range. Social Sciences & Humanities Open is an exciting new multidisciplinary, open access journal. Social Sciences & Humanities Open (SSHO) is a fully open access scientific journal covering all areas of the social sciences, economics, and humanities. We adhere to the highest scientific standards by following a rigorous peer-review process. Any submission reporting scientifically accurate and valuable research will be considered for publication. We welcome empirical studies, theoretical articles, case studies, methodological articles and literature reviews. Our scope is inclusive: we encourage multi- and inter-disciplinary work as well as new and experimental forms of research, replication studies and negative findings. All submissions will be evaluated based on their scientific and methodological validity and robustness of research. As an open access journal, all articles will be immediately and permanently available for authors and readers to read, download, cite and share. SSHO further aims to be a meeting point for researchers at every stage of their career. One of our guiding principles is to make the publishing process accessible to everyone doing sound science, including first-time authors, early career researchers, and those from underrepresented groups and geographical areas. Social and Emotional Learning: Research, Practice, and Policy

An independent Journal sponsored by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning Social and Emotional Learning: Research, Practice, and Policy is the primary international destination for research on the science, practice, and policy in the field of social and emotional Learning (SEL). This peer-reviewed journal is designed to publish the highest quality articles on SEL research, practice, and policy in ways that enhance the development and use of research on both SEL implementation and impact; improve the ways practice is shaped and supported; and provide empirical evidence and perspectives that inform practice and policy. The Journal will publish articles focused on early childhood to post-secondary, as well as adult SEL, along with SEL programming and practices that span multiple settings and contexts (e.g., school, home, community, out of school time, workplace, higher education). This open-access peer-reviewed journal features (1) original empirical articles from researchers, evaluators, and practitioners regarding practice, policy, SEL implementation, and rigorous outcome research; (2) articles that address critical perspectives about SEL as a field of research, practice, and policy; and (3) articles, commentaries, and summaries of recent developments in SEL practice and policy. The Journal is affiliated with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). However, the Journal is editorially independent of CASEL and governed by an independent Publications Committee that is responsible for the Journal's editorial policies and operation. The Journal is organized into four main sections. Original Research The Original Research section includes empirical articles that have direct application to SEL practice and policy. The Journal will consider articles that use a range of methodologies, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs), program evaluations, meta-analyses, descriptive or longitudinal studies, psychometric evidence, and qualitative and mixed-methods studies. The Journal is particularly interested in publishing articles that have direct application of and relevance to practice and policy. All articles in this section will be subject to masked peer-review. Perspectives The Perspectives section includes reviews of research and articles that frame, conceptualize, integrate multiple viewpoints, or advance new insights on SEL research, practice, or policy. This section includes articles describing newly emerging issues or challenges in the field of SEL, syntheses of existing research, scoping reviews, systematic reviews, and new perspectives on topics related to SEL research, programs, practices, or policy. This section will not accept articles on new research findings. All articles in this section will be subject to masked peer-review. SEL in Practice The SEL in Practice section will publish articles that advance and improve practice through the voices of practitioners and others working to advance implementation and sustainability of SEL in school and non-school settings. This section includes articles describing scientific insights along with strong practical implications that practitioners can apply in their work. Sample topics include increasing adult well-being through SEL, supporting SEL through family and community engagement, integrating SEL into academics, and using SEL to cultivate a positive school culture. Articles might include the "human" element of SEL, such as a story, a personal experience, or some other description that reminds readers that SEL is about connecting with the humanity in ourselves and each other. All articles in this section will be subject to peer-review. SEL in Policy The SEL in Policy section will publish articles that seek to translate policy implications of SEL research; explore the ways in which policies at the school or institution, district/community, state, federal, and international levels influence SEL practice, promote improvements to SEL practice and policy; and elevate examples of successful adoption and implementation of policy that advances SEL. This section will highlight the voices of those working to advance SEL policy and policymaking in education and youth development settings and will seek contributions that represent a variety of viewpoints and experiences. The Journal especially encourages submissions by authors who have recently published policy-relevant reports and others who are doing work at the intersection of SEL and policy. All articles in this section will be subject to peer-review. SoftwareX aims to acknowledge the impact of software on today's research practice, and on new scientific discoveries in almost all research domains. SoftwareX also aims to stress the importance of the software developers who are, in part, responsible for this impact. To this end, SoftwareX aims to support publication of research software in such a way that: The software is given a stamp of scientific relevance, and provided with a peer-reviewed recognition of scientific impact; The software developers are given the credits they deserve; The software is citable, allowing traditional metrics of scientific excellence to apply; The academic career paths of software developers are supported rather than hindered; The software is publicly available for inspection, validation, and re-use. Above all, SoftwareX aims to inform researchers about software applications, tools and libraries with a (proven) potential to impact the process of scientific discovery in various domains. The journal is multidisciplinary and accepts submissions from within and across subject domains such as those represented within the broad thematic areas below: Mathematical and Physical Sciences; Environmental Sciences; Medical and Biological Sciences; Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Originating from these broad thematic areas, the journal also welcomes submissions of software that works in cross cutting thematic areas, such as citizen science, cybersecurity, digital economy, energy, global resource stewardship, health and wellbeing, etcetera. SoftwareX specifically aims to accept submissions representing domain-independent software that may impact more than one research domain. Domain independent underpinning software tools and technologies have for too long been underrepresented in academic literature. We wish to ensure that these software items get academic recognition and welcome submissions of software tools and services that may otherwise not have a publication home. Examples include mathematical or image processing libraries or methodologies, visualization tools, data management, etcetera. Through the quality of the description and of the (potential) impact of the software deposited we aim that significant reuse will occur both within and without the original developing domain and therefore encourage consideration of this reuse factor when submitting and in the language used within the description. Submissions to SoftwareX consist of two major parts: A short descriptive paper of 3000-word limit; An open-source software distribution with support material.
