Surface Science Reports
A Review JournalSurface Science Reports contains invited review papers on experimental and theoretical studies in the physics, chemistry and pioneering applications of surfaces, interfaces and nanostructures. It covers topics which contribute to a better understanding of basic phenomena occurring on surfaces and interfaces, but also the application of this knowledge to the development of materials, processes and devices. "Surfaces" is defined in this journal to include all interfaces between solids, liquids, polymers, biomaterials, nanostructures, soft matter, gases and/or vacuum. The journal also contains reviews of experimental techniques and methods used to characterize surfaces and surface processes, e.g. those based upon the interactions of photons, electrons and ions with surfaces.

Cretaceous Research
Cretaceous Research provides a forum for the rapid publication of research on all aspects of the Cretaceous Period, including its boundaries with the Jurassic and Palaeogene with emphasis on multidisciplinary research. Authoritative papers reporting detailed investigations of Cretaceous integrated stratigraphy and palaeontology, palaeobiogeography, palaeoceanography, palaeoclimatology, evolutionary palaeoecology, paleobiology, geochronology, global events (e.g., K/Pg boundary, Oceanic Anoxic Events), regional geology, and reviews of recently published books are complemented by short communications of significant new findings.Papers submitted to Cretaceous Research should place the research in a broad context and should be focused to better understand the Cretaceous geology and climate, that are therefore of interest to the diverse, international readership of the journal. Full length papers that focus solely on single disciplines or local theme or restricted geographic area will not be accepted for publication; authors of short communications are encouraged to discuss how their findings are of relevance to the Cretaceous on a broad scale.This journal welcomes contributions that support and advance the UN's sustainable development goals, in particular SDG 13 (Climate Action)

Icarus
Icarus is devoted to the publication of original contributions in the field of Solar System studies. Manuscripts reporting the results of new research - observational, experimental, or theoretical - concerning the astronomy, geology, meteorology, physics, chemistry, biology, and other scientific aspects of our Solar System or extrasolar systems are welcome. The journal generally does not publish papers devoted exclusively to the Sun or the Earth; papers on celestial mechanics or astrophysics are acceptable only if they have a clear importance for planetary science; descriptive studies of meteorites should be addressed to journals of meteoritics, but are relevant for Icarus is they provide constraints on the formation or evolution of planetesimals, planets or the solar system in its globality. Icarus does not publish papers that provide "improved" versions of Bode's law, or other numerical relations, without a sound physical basis. Icarus does not publish meeting announcements or general notices. Reviews, historical papers, and manuscripts describing spacecraft instrumentation may be considered, but only with prior approval of the editor. An entire issue of the journal is occasionally devoted to a single subject, usually arising from a conference on the same topic. The language of publication is English. NIM-B accepts original manuscripts on the fundamental interactions between energetic particle beams and matter, along with related technologies and applications.Relevan... manuscripts will address one or more of the following areas:Interactions between matter and beams of charged or neutral particles: Atoms, molecules, atomic clusters, neutrons, photons, electrons, and ions.Experimental, theoretical and modelling work concerning fundamental interaction cross sections and derived information such as stopping powers, defect formation, thermodynamics and kinetics data.Beam-enhanced synthesis and modification of classical and quantum materials as well as surfaces treated with laser-, electron- and high intensity ion beams.
