An International Journal on Multi-Sensor, Multi-Source Information FusionThe journal is intended to present within a single forum all of the developments in the field of multi-sensor, multi-source, multi-process information fusion and thereby promote the synergism among the many disciplines that are contributing to its growth. The journal is the premier vehicle for disseminating information on all aspects of research and development in the field of information fusion. Articles are expected to emphasize one or more of the three facets: architectures, algorithms, and applications. Games and Economic Behavior
Games and Economic Behavior (GEB) is a general-interest journal devoted to the advancement of game theory and its applications. Game theory applications cover a wide range of subjects in social, behavioral, mathematical and biological sciences, and game theoretic methodologies draw on a large variety of tools from those sciences.Publication criteria: GEB publishes general-interest papers that significantly advance the frontiers of game theory and its applications. This is a high bar, but the journal's editors are open-minded about the interpretations and trade-offs involved. For example, a paper in industrial organization that deals with corporate takeover might be of general game-theoretic interest if it contributes to our understanding of coalition formation. Similarly, the analysis of games played by computer algorithms might be relevant to modeling strategic thinking. The editors are also open-minded about the frontiers. They are happy to publish papers that, while not in currently popular areas, lead to significant new frontiers in game theory and applications. Authors are therefore encouraged to make a clear case, in the paper itself, that it meets these publication criteria. Evaluation procedure: Each paper is initially assigned by GEB's chief editor to one of the seven editors (including himself), who has final decision authority. In determining their decisions, editors consult with advisory editors and reviewers who are anonymous to the authors. The assigned editor then (non-anonymously) communicates her/his decision to the corresponding author in a decision letter, usually accompanied by one or more referees' and/or advisory editors' reports. Currently GEB publishes about 15% of the submitted papers. However, when editors decide that a submitted paper does not have a chance of meeting the journal publication criterion, they "desk-reject" the paper without going through the standard, lengthy evaluation process. The vigorous growth of astronomical and astrophysical science in China led to an increase in papers on astrophysics which Acta Astronomica Sinica could no longer absorb. Human and Policy DimensionsGlobal Environmental Change is a peer-reviewed international journal publishing high quality, theoretically and empirically rigorous articles, which advance knowledge about the human and policy dimensions of global environmental change. The journal interprets global environmental change to mean the outcome of processes that are manifest in localities, but with consequences at multiple spatial, temporal and socio-political scales. The journal is interested in articles which have a significant social science component. These include articles that address the social drivers or consequences of environmental change, or social and policy processes that seek to address problems of environmental change. European Journal of Mechanics - B/Fluids
The European Journal of Mechanics - B/Fluids publishes papers in Eglish in all fields of fluid mechanics. Although investigations in well-established areas are within the scope of the journal, recent developments and innovative ideas are particularly welcome. Theoretical, computational and experimental papers are equally welcome. Mathematical methods, be they deterministic or stochastic, analytical or numerical, will be accepted provided they serve to clarify some identifiable problems in fluid mechanics, and provided the significance of results is explained. Similarly, experimental papers must add physical insight in to the understanding of fluid mechanics.Fast Tracks in the European Journal of Mechanics B/Fluids is a venue for short papers with significant original results across the full range of fluid mechanics. Papers submitted as Fast Tracks will receive priority handling by a dedicated editor, to ensure accelerated publication, and will appear in a dedicated EJMB/Fluids section of each journal volume. EJMB/Fluids will strive for the editorial process of two months from submission to publication. Manuscripts submitted to Fast Tracks must maintain the same standard of rigor and quality required of all papers submitted to the Journal; thus, papers in the fast-track process are not intended for the publication of minor incremental or cursory results.The European Journal of Mechanics B/Fluids welcomes extended Comments to published articles, to facilitate evaluation of each paper by the community, to stimulate scientific discussions and possibly highlight paths of future research.
