The design of industrial processes requires reliable thermodynamic data. CALPHAD (Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry) aims to promote computational thermodynamics through development of models to represent thermodynamic properties for various phases which permit prediction of properties of multicomponent systems from those of binary and ternary subsystems, critical assessment of data and their incorporation into self-consistent databases, development of software to optimize and derive thermodynamic parameters and the development and use of databanks for calculations to improve understanding of various industrial and technological processes. The Journal of Molecular Graphics and Modelling is devoted to the publication of papers on the uses of computers in theoretical investigations of molecular structure, function, interaction, and design. The scope of the journal includes all aspects of molecular modeling and computational chemistry, including, for instance, the study of molecular shape and properties, molecular simulations, protein and polymer engineering, drug design, materials design, structure-activity and structure-property relationships, database mining, and compound library design.As a primary research journal, JMGM seeks to bring new knowledge to the attention of our readers. As such, submissions to the journal need to not only report results, but must draw conclusions and explore implications of the work presented. Authors are strongly encouraged to bear this in mind when preparing manuscripts. Routine applications of standard modelling approaches, providing only very limited new scientific insight, will not meet our criteria for publication. Reproducibility of reported calculations is an important issue. Wherever possible, we urge authors to enhance their papers with Supplementary Data, for example, in QSAR studies machine-readable versions of molecular datasets or in the development of new force-field parameters versions of the topology and force field parameter files. Topics of interest include critical updates on the improvements in environmental analytical chemistry, achievements and challenges of modern techniques and possible future developments in the specific fields, such as sampling methodology, techniques for remote measurements, analytical instrumentation, miniaturization and automation, determination of trace atmospheric constituents of anthropogenic and natural origin, detection and identification of organic pollutants in water, soil and biota, determination and speciation of heavy metals and radionuclides in the environment, environmental references materials; method validation and chemometrics in environmental analysis.The aim of TrEAC is to publish concise reviews covering the latest advances in environmental analytical chemistry. The journal does not focus on application papers, especially those that are straightforward utilizations of commercial instrumentation or other existing techniques, regardless of how complex and expensive they may be. If submitted, application papers must clearly demonstrate a high level of general importance and interest to the analytical chemistry community at large.It will normally be expected that where new analytical methodologies and developments are described these will be applied to a sample matrix of suitable analytical complexity. Perspectives are short articles (max 5,000 words), usually from a single author, that provide a particular viewpoint pertaining to analytical chemistry. At least initially, this will not be an open submission process but, instead, these will be solicited (by invite only) from individuals of high scientific merit and/or influence by the perspective editor. While they should strive for objectivity, their main focus is on the individual viewpoint, and as such may advocate the importance of a particular avenue of scientific investigation, analytical method, or field of application. Perspective manuscripts are typically reviewed by editors or members of the editorial board.Manuscripts are considered for publication in Analytica Chimica Acta only on the basis that the work is original and unpublished. Frontier research on physical phenomena in chemistry, biology and materials scienceCriteria for publication in Chemical Physics are novelty, quality and general interest in experimental and theoretical chemical physics and physical chemistry. Icarus is devoted to the publication of original contributions in the field of Solar System studies. Manuscripts reporting the results of new research - observational, experimental, or theoretical - concerning the astronomy, geology, meteorology, physics, chemistry, biology, and other scientific aspects of our Solar System or extrasolar systems are welcome. The journal generally does not publish papers devoted exclusively to the Sun or the Earth; papers on celestial mechanics or astrophysics are acceptable only if they have a clear importance for planetary science; descriptive studies of meteorites should be addressed to journals of meteoritics, but are relevant for Icarus is they provide constraints on the formation or evolution of planetesimals, planets or the solar system in its globality. Progress in Aerospace Sciences (JPAS) is an invitation-only international review journal of broad interest to researchers, engineers, and practitioners in aeronautics, astronautics, and aerospace engineering and science across research institutes, industry, and universities. The journal is devoted exclusively to invited critical review articles. As a general rule, papers should be as concise as possible and not exceed 100 pages. Authors are encouraged to provide specialist readers with an orderly and concise summary of recent work, with sufficient detail to inform general aerospace readers of developments beyond their own field. Each paper must critically review a minimum of 100 publications. Astronautics (Space Flight): astrodynamics; orbital and attitude guidance, navigation and control; on-board autonomy including physics-informed AI and machine learning; mission analysis and design; structures and mechanisms; planetary and orbital space robotics; space systems engineering; deployable structures and very large space systems; solar sails; innovation and technology transfer; human spaceflight; new space economy; space exploration.
