    Widely recognized journal of the International Collaboration of Pharmacy Journal Editors (ICPJE) in comportment with the Granada Statements, Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy (RSAP) publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed content in health services research specifically as it relates to some aspects of the medication use process. The medication use process includes (but is not limited to) the prescribing, preparation, dispensing, administration, adherence to, evaluation, monitoring, and outcomes associated with legend or with over-the-counter medications, incorporating the concept of clinical pharmacy which optimize utilization of medicines to achieve person-centered and public health goals. The medication use process includes attitudes, perspectives, knowledge, and behaviors of any actor in this process, including prescribers, pharmacists, pharmacy personnel, other health practitioners, patients, and caregivers.In twelve issues per year, RSAP features original scientific reports, comprehensive review articles, proposed models, and provocative commentaries in the social and administrative pharmaceutical sciences.Topics of interest outcomes evaluation of drug products programs, or services pharmacoepidemiology medication adherencedisease managementmedication use policydrug marketingevaluation of educational paradigms that could impact practice and/or patient behaviorother topics related to public health in the context of pharmacy or medication use.RSAP proffers new models to guide existing research, make methodological arguments, or describe the results of rigorous theory-building research. Practice and education research are considered, with preference given to papers evaluating theoretical constructs and to those that might shape policy.The International Collaboration of Pharmacy Journal Editors - ICPJE The ICPJE shares commonalities and goals to improve the medication use process and the outcomes emanating from this endeavor. The ICPJE refers to ‘pharmacy’ as the medication use process. However, research articles, reviews, and commentaries, can refer to any actor involved, as well as any evaluation (e.g. pharmaceoepidemiolog... of the drug products themselves or systems employed, to optimize the use process. Each journal of the ICPJE has an established niche and is optimally suited for certain types of manuscripts.

    The Journal for the Study of Medicinal PlantsA Q1-ranked journal in the category of 'Agricultural and Biological Sciences' (Scopus).Fitoterapia is a Journal dedicated to medicinal plants and fungi and to the bioactive natural products produced by these organisms. It publishes original contributions in six major areas:Chemical characterization of active ingredients of medicinal plants and fungi, including their endophytes Innovative analytical approaches for dereplication and standardization of bioactive extracts and metabolites from plant resources Identification of bioactivity in plant and fungal extracts and in their constituents Identification of biological targets and mechanism of activity of plant and fungal extracts Production and genomic characterization of medicinal plants biomass Critical reviews of the composition, history, clinical and legal status of medicinal plants, and accounts on topical issues. Publication requirementsWestern Blots. Manuscripts reporting Western Blots must include original uncropped traces in triplicate as Supplementary Material. Images should be of good resolution.NMR data. Manuscripts reporting the structure elucidation of new compounds must include copies of MS and 1D and 2D NMR spectra as Supplementary Material. Fitoterapia strongly encourages Authors to deposit raw NMR data files (FID and 2D serial files) for new compounds in a publicly accessible data depository. Reviews. For review article submissions, Authors are required to provide evidence of their expertise and research experience in the specific field. Contributions reporting the following are NOT considered for publication: Activity data on crude extracts that have not been characterized by qualitative (and preferably quantitative) analysis of their individual constituents (LC/MS, or isolation followed by NMR). Data on the extract composition simply taken from literature or from previous studies are not acceptable. Characterization of only a few constituents is generally considered too partial. Studies on the bioactivity of pure compounds purchased or obtained by Authors without any study or relationship with the producing organism. Unexceptional and predictable bioactivity (e.g. antioxidant and mild antimicrobial properties of phenolics or of essential oils). Uncritical ethnopharmacological investigations, where a list of plants and their use are simply recorded. Genomic, transcriptomic and pharmacological studies without convincing wet lab experiments, or with little correlation to bioactive natural compounds.Studies based exclusively or mainly on computational/theore... investigations without adequate experimental support.In addition, the following immediate rejection criteria apply: RULE 1: The manuscript does not fall into any of the areas of interest of the Journal (e.g. investigation on extracts obtained from animal sources) RULE 2: The manuscript is too preliminary, reporting e.g. activity data without comparison to a reference, or without a positive control. RULE 3: The botanical source is not clearly identified (with scientific Latin names), authenticated, and documented (voucher). RULE 4: Lack of the required supporting material (see publication requirements). RULE 5: Bioactivity is not relevant to in vivo situations. RULE 6: Reviews on topics already covered in the recent literature. RULE 7: Bibliometric or patentometric reviews.

    The International Journal of Pharmaceutics is the third most cited journal in the "Pharmacy & Pharmacology" category out of 366 journals, being the true home for pharmaceutical scientists concerned with the physical, chemical and biological properties of devices and delivery systems for drugs, vaccines and biologicals, including their design, manufacture and evaluation. This includes evaluation of the properties of drugs, excipients such as surfactants and polymers and novel materials. The journal has special sections on pharmaceutical nanotechnology and personalized medicines, and publishes research papers, reviews, commentaries and letters to the editor as well as special issues.Editorial Policy The over-riding criteria for publication are originality, high scientific quality and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Papers not sufficiently substantiated by experimental detail will not be published. Any technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without altering the technical content. Manuscripts submitted under multiple authorship are reviewed on the assumption that all listed authors concur with the submission and that a copy of the final manuscript has been approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities in the laboratories where the work was carried out. If accepted, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere in the same form, in either the same or another language, without the consent of the Editors and Publisher.Authors must state in a covering letter when submitting papers for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach taken in their research. Routine bioequivalence studies are unlikely to find favour. No paper will be published which does not disclose fully the nature of the formulation used or details of materials which are key to the performance of a product, drug or excipient. Work which is predictable in outcome, for example the inclusion of another drug in a cyclodextrin to yield enhanced dissolution, will not be published unless it provides new insight into fundamental principles.
