    A Journal Related to Head & Neck OncologyOral Oncology is an international interdisciplinary journal which publishes high quality original research, clinical trials and review articles, editorials, and commentaries relating to the etiopathogenesis, epidemiology, prevention, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with neoplasms in the head and neck.Oral Oncology is of interest to head and neck surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, maxillo-facial surgeons, oto-rhino-laryngolog... plastic surgeons, pathologists, scientists, oral medical specialists, special care dentists, dental care professionals, general dental practitioners, public health physicians, palliative care physicians, nurses, radiologists, radiographers, dieticians, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nutritionists, clinical and health psychologists and counselors, professionals in end of life care, as well as others interested in these fields.Basic, translational, or clinical Research or Review papers of high quality and that make a contribution to new knowledge are invited on the following aspects of neoplasms arising in the head and neck (including lip, tongue, oral cavity, oropharynx, salivary glands, sinuses, nose, nasopharynx, larynx, skull base, thyroid, and craniofacial region, and the related hard and soft tissues and lymph nodes):• Etiopathogenesis: natural history of cancer and pre-cancer; basic pathology, metastatic mechanisms; genetic changes; cellular and molecular changes; microorganisms; growth factors, adhesion and other molecules • Epidemiology; risk factors; biomarkers; protective factors; geographic factors; prevention; screening and intervention • Clinical features; orofacial effects of neoplasms at both local and distant sites; tumor staging and grading • Diagnosis; detection of cancer and pre-cancer; cellular and molecular markers for diagnosis; advances in imaging and other functional diagnostic modalities for cancer and pre-cancer • Management and Prognosis; clinical, cellular and molecular markers for prognosis; treatment options including surgical, lasers, photodynamic therapy, cryosurgery, micro- vascular and other forms of surgery, medical, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biological and gene therapy advances; molecular targets and new therapeutics (new cytotonics and molecular-targeted therapies); multimodality treatment; advances in reconstruction and rehabilitation, including flaps and grafts, alloplasty, bone and connective tissue biology; multidisciplinary teamwork in cancer care and oral health care. • Quality of life issues; issues of consent; psychosocial aspects; patient and health professional information; patient involvement; psychological interventions, improving outcomes; the prevention, diagnosis and management of complications, including, pain, hemorrhage, dysfunction, deformity, osteoradionecrosis, xerostomia, and others; rehabilitation; palliative and end of life care; and support teamwork.

    Antiviral Research aims to publish manuscripts in the field of prevention and treatment of viral diseases in humans and vertebrate animals, and encourages authors to the submit manuscripts describing the activity of well-defined chemical compounds for the treatment of viral diseases. The journal is an Official Publication of the International Society for Antiviral Research. The types of papers published in Antiviral Research includes original research reports, short communications, commentaries and invited review* articles on the control of viral infections in humans. All papers must include a sufficiently detailed description of methods to permit other investigators to replicate the experiments. Authors reporting the antiviral effect of a novel small-molecule drug must reveal its chemical structure. Claims of in vitro or in vivo efficacy of a drug or vaccine must be supported by appropriate statistical analysis that must be clearly described in the manuscript.Antiviral Research journal does not publish reports on viral diseases of plants or of insects, crustaceans or other invertebrates. Studies of viral diseases of livestock and companion animals must be clearly related to the development of realistic therapies. Papers on veterinary vaccines should report findings in the target animal species.We discourage the submission of manuscripts reporting the antiviral activity of unpurified natural products, or of partially purified substances of natural origin for which a mechanism of action has not been determined. Manuscripts claiming an antiviral effect of homeopathic products or other highly diluted preparations, or which fail to clearly identify the biological ingredient or molecule responsible for the antiviral activity of an experimental therapy, will not be considered for publication. Articles describing antiseptics with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity will not be accepted. We discourage the submission of in silico docking studies or other computer-based predictions of antiviral activity that are not supported by data from biological assays. Citations of reports that have not undergone peer review must include the note "[not peer-reviewed]."ISAR members Authors who are ISAR members are encouraged to contact ISAR after their paper has been accepted for publication in order to benefit from their published work being highlighted in ISAR postings on their social media platforms (further details on this will be given in the AVR acceptance letter). *Antiviral Research journal has started a new initiative to publish at least two thematic special issues per year, containing invited reviews in addition to the ad hoc invitations to experts in the areas within the scope of the journal.

    The Journal of Neuroimmunology affords a forum for the publication of works on all branches of the neurosciences with the scope of uncovering aspects of neuro-immune interactions. Specific areas of interest are related (but not exclusive) to neuroinflammatory, neurodegenerative, neuroinfectious, and psychiatric diseases, peripheral neuropathies, spinal cord injury, neuroimaging, studies on central nervous systems (CNS) barriers and lymphatics, brain cancer, role of innate and adaptive immunity, immunometabolism and metabolic regulation of neuro-immune responses, and the gut microbiome in CNS health and diseases.The scope of the Journal is broad, covering both research and clinical problems of neuroscientific interest giving priorities to cutting edge and novel work.A major aim of the Journal is to encourage the development of approaches to analyze in depth the neuroimmune system and interactions between neurons, glial, and immune cells.

    International Immunopharmacology is the primary vehicle for the publication of original research papers pertinent to the overlapping areas of immunology, pharmacology, cytokine biology, immunotherapy, immunopathology and immunotoxicology. Review articles that encompass these subjects are also welcome.The subject material appropriate for submission includes: • Clinical studies employing immunotherapy of any type including the use of: bacterial and chemical agents; thymic hormones, interferon, lymphokines, etc., in transplantation and diseases such as cancer, immunodeficiency, chronic infection and allergic, inflammatory or autoimmune disorders. • Studies on the mechanisms of action of these agents for specific parameters of immune competence as well as the overall clinical state. • Pre-clinical animal studies and in vitro studies on mechanisms of action with immunopotentiators, immunomodulators, immunoadjuvants and other pharmacological agents active on cells participating in immune or allergic responses. • Pharmacological compounds, microbial products and toxicological agents that affect the lymphoid system, and their mechanisms of action. • Agents that activate genes or modify transcription and translation within the immune response. • Substances activated, generated, or released through immunologic or related pathways that are pharmacologically active. • Production, function and regulation of cytokines and their receptors. • Classical pharmacological studies on the effects of chemokines and bioactive factors released during immunological reactions. • Studies on the nature and function of drug and hormone receptors on lymphocytes and other cells in the immune system.• Studies of cell-derived or humoral factors that modify the immune system causing cytotoxicity, inducing antibody production and mediating inflammatory responses. • The development of immunologically based assays and their application to disease, including assays for drugs, hormones, cyclic nucleotides, tumor antigens, etc. These Backfiles include Immunopharmacology and the International Journal of Immunopharmacology .International Immunopharmacology does not accept submissions that consist primarily of bioinformatics or computational analyses of public genomic or transcriptomic databases, unless they are supported by experimental studies involving cells, organoids, or experimental animals.

Therefore, the essential criteria for publication are clarity, experimental soundness and novelty.     The American Journal of Preventive Medicine is the official journal of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research. It publishes articles in the areas of prevention research, teaching, practice and policy. Original research is published on interventions aimed at the prevention of chronic and acute disease and the promotion of individual and community health.Of particular emphasis are papers that address the primary and secondary prevention of important clinical, behavioral and public health issues such as injury and violence, infectious disease, women's health, smoking, sedentary behaviors and physical activity, nutrition, diabetes, obesity, and substance use disorders. Papers also address educational initiatives aimed at improving the ability of health professionals to provide effective clinical prevention and public health services. Papers on health services research pertinent to prevention and public health are also published. The journal also publishes official policy statements from the two co-sponsoring organizations, review articles, media reviews, and editorials. Finally, the journal periodically publishes supplements and special theme issues devoted to areas of current interest to the prevention community.
