Sponsored by the Australian Society for ParasitologyThe International Journal for Parasitology publishes the results of original research in all aspects of basic and applied parasitology, including all the fields covered by its Specialist Editors, and ranging from parasites and host-parasite relationships of intrinsic biological interest to those of social and economic importance in human and veterinary medicine and agriculture. Original research includes the development of novel and innovative concepts and ideas, as well as experimental and observational science that raises new hypotheses.We do not publish new genome sequences and assemblies alone without new and significant insight into the biology of the parasite, the parasite-host relationship or mechanisms of pathogenesis. Because of its breadth of discipline coverage, the aims and significance of all contributions should be made clear to readers who are not expert in the particular subject of papers. In applied parasitology, it will tend to favour contributions of broader significance to the subject rather than narrow, highly specialised applications. The principal form of publication is the full length paper which contains substantial results from a major program of research. The Journal also provides a medium for the publication of shorter, but complete, papers reporting highly significant original findings, as Succinctus articles. It also publishes Thematic Issues incorporating papers on a topical theme and commissions papers with emphasis on shorter, focussed Reviews of topical issues and strategically important subjects. The Journal of Neuroimmunology affords a forum for the publication of works on all branches of the neurosciences with the scope of uncovering aspects of neuro-immune interactions. Specific areas of interest are related (but not exclusive) to neuroinflammatory, neurodegenerative, neuroinfectious, and psychiatric diseases, peripheral neuropathies, spinal cord injury, neuroimaging, studies on central nervous systems (CNS) barriers and lymphatics, brain cancer, role of innate and adaptive immunity, and the gut microbiome in CNS health and diseases.The scope of the Journal is broad, covering both research and clinical problems of neuroscientific interest giving priorities to cutting edge and novel work.A major aim of the Journal is to encourage the development of approaches to analyze in depth the neuroimmune system and interactions between the nervous and immune systems.

The journal is devoted to promoting science and practice in internal medicine in Europe. To this end, the journal publishes original articles, editorials, reviews, internal medicine flashcards, and other information relevant to internal medicine and related fields. Translational medicine and clinical studies both receive attention by the Journal. EJIM has the ambition to become the place for the publication of excellent clinical studies; however, this target is intended to be associated with the improvement of the quality of health care in Internal Medicine in the European hospitals.The journal encourages the submission, as original articles, of: quality clinical studies related to internal medicine;papers defining the unmet clinical needs in several areas of internal medicine;methodology of clinical research and critical reading of clinical studies;high-level subgroup or secondary analyses of the major clinical trials;experimental design of planned or ongoing large clinical trials.
