European Neuropsychopharmacology
An Official Journal of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacol... European Neuropsychopharmacol... is the official publication of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacol... (ECNP). In accordance with the mission of the College, the journal focuses on clinical and basic science contributions that advance our understanding of brain function and human behaviour and enable translation into improved treatments and enhanced public health impact in psychiatry. Recent years have been characterized by exciting advances in basic knowledge and available experimental techniques in neuroscience and genomics. However, clinical translation of these findings has not been as rapid. The journal aims to narrow this gap by promoting findings that are expected to have a major impact on both our understanding of the biological bases of mental disorders and the development and improvement of treatments, ideally paving the way for prevention and recovery.European Neuropsychopharmacol... is the official journal of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacol... (ECNP).Electronic usage: An increasing number of readers access the journal online via ScienceDirect, one of the world's most advanced web delivery systems for scientific, technical and medical information.Average monthly article downloads for this journal: 29,000- ISSN: 0924-977X

Specific areas of interest are related (but not exclusive) to neuroinflammatory, neurodegenerative, neuroinfectious, and psychiatric diseases, peripheral neuropathies, spinal cord injury, neuroimaging, studies on central nervous systems (CNS) barriers and lymphatics, brain cancer, role of innate and adaptive immunity, and the gut microbiome in CNS health and diseases. The scope of the Journal is broad, covering both research and clinical problems of neuroscientific interest giving priorities to cutting edge and novel work.A major aim of the Journal is to encourage the development of approaches to analyze in depth the neuroimmune system and interactions between the nervous and immune systems.- ISSN: 0165-5728

Brain Stimulation
Basic, Translational, and Clinical Research in NeuromodulationAbout Brain StimulationBrain Stimulation is the premier journal for publishing research in the field of neuromodulation. The journal includes: a) original articles; b) invited and original reviews or commentaries; and c) letters to the Editor. Special issues of the journal will be considered based on scientific merit.Brain Stimulation publishes original work across the entire field of brain stimulation, including noninvasive and invasive techniques and technologies that alter brain function using electrical, magnetic, radiowave, sound, light, focally targeted pharmacologic stimulation, or any other physical method to directly alter neural function. This includes investigations that study the effects of brain stimulation on basic processes, such as gene expression and other aspects of molecular biology, neurochemical regulation, functional brain activity, sensorimotor function, and cognitive and affective processes at the systems level. As an equal partner with this basic emphasis, the journal has strong representation of research on the therapeutic potential and adverse effects of the stimulation technologies. Research in therapeutics includes not only clinical trials, but also conceptual pieces, discussions of ethics as they pertain to this field, services research, and epidemiology. The journal also publishes the highest level of research on the biophysics and biopsychophysics of stimulation paradigms, as well as the use of these techniques as a probe to outline patterns of neural connectivity. The journal will consider any form of neuromodulation that impacts on brain processes. Spinal cord stimulation or peripheral nerve stimulation will be considered only if behavioral effects are mediated by a central brain mechanism. The journal scope does not include psychological manipulations, such as visual or auditory presentation, nor are routine pharmacology studies appropriate for this journal. Studies of imaging correlates of brain states that do not involve brain stimulation are also not within the purview of the journal.- ISSN: 1935-861X
