A Journal of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the Association for Prevention Teaching and ResearchThe American Journal of Preventive Medicine is the official journal of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research. It publishes articles in the areas of prevention research, teaching, practice and policy. Original research is published on interventions aimed at the prevention of chronic and acute disease and the promotion of individual and community health.Of particular emphasis are papers that address the primary and secondary prevention of important clinical, behavioral and public health issues such as injury and violence, infectious disease, women's health, smoking, sedentary behaviors and physical activity, nutrition, diabetes, obesity, and substance use disorders. Papers also address educational initiatives aimed at improving the ability of health professionals to provide effective clinical prevention and public health services. Papers on health services research pertinent to prevention and public health are also published. The journal also publishes official policy statements from the two co-sponsoring organizations, review articles, media reviews, and editorials. Finally, the journal periodically publishes supplements and special theme issues devoted to areas of current interest to the prevention community. For information on the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR), visit their web sites at the following URLs: http://www.acpm.org/ and http://www.aptrweb.org
An official Journal of the European Society for Medical Oncology and the official journal of the Japanese Society of Medical OncologyAnnals of Oncology, the journal of the European Society for Medical Oncology and the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology, provides rapid and efficient peer-review publications on innovative cancer treatments or translational work related to oncology and precision medicine.Main focuses of interest include: systemic anticancer therapy (with specific interest on molecular targeted agents and new immune therapies), randomized trials (including negatives ones), top-level guidelines, and new fields currently emerging as key components of personalized medicine, such as molecular pathology, bioinformatics, modern statistics, and biotechnologies. Radiotherapy, surgery and pediatrics manuscripts can be considered if they display a clear interaction with one of the fields above or are paradigm-shifting.With a large international editorial board of experts who are leaders in their fields, Annals of Oncology aims at delivering the best communication on the fast moving, and continually evolving, global oncology landscape.

The Official Journal of The Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The international journal Auris Nasus Larynx provides the opportunity for rapid, carefully reviewed publications concerning the fundamental and clinical aspects of otorhinolaryngology and related fields. This includes otology, neurotology, bronchoesophagology, laryngology, rhinology, allergology, head and neck medicine and oncologic surgery, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, audiology, speech science.Original papers, short communications and original case reports can be submitted. Reviews on recent developments are invited regularly and Letters to the Editor commenting on papers or any aspect of Auris Nasus Larynx are welcomed.Founded in 1974 and previously published by the Society for Promotion of International Otorhinolaryngology, the journal is now the official English-language journal of the Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The aim of its new international Editorial Board is to make Auris Nasus Larynx an international forum for high quality research and clinical sciences.
BBA Molecular Basis of Disease addresses the biochemistry and molecular genetics of disease processes and models of human disease. This journal covers aspects of aging, cancer, metabolic-, neurological-, and immunological-based disease. Manuscripts focused on using animal models to elucidate biochemical and mechanistic insight in each of these conditions, are particularly encouraged. Manuscripts should emphasize the underlying mechanisms of disease pathways and provide novel contributions to the understanding and/or treatment of these disorders. Highly descriptive and method development submissions may be declined without full review.Given the complex regulation of gene expression by a vast network of miRNA's, manuscripts describing the regulation of (disease-associated) genes by single miRNAs will only be considered if they provide genuine, novel insight in a disease mechanism. Further, studies restricted to a single cell line will not be considered unless they present truly novel insights. Please see our Guide for Authors for information on article submission. If you require any further information or help, please visit our Support Center
Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy is a multidisciplinary journal which publishes full-length, original research reports, reviews, and preliminary communications or letters to the editor which fall within the general scope of clinical and basic medicine and pharmacology. The general fields of interest will include Cancer, Nutriceutics, Neurodegenerative, Cardiac and Infectious Diseases.Special emphasis will be placed on studies of specific topics such as molecular mechanisms, gene regulation in normal and pathologic cells as well as susceptibility in response to oncogenic agents. Effects of drugs on preclinical and clinical pharmacology and the role of bacteria, viruses and parasites in animals and humans.Brief reports of meetings, symposia and conferences will also be considered for publication as well as brief listings of scientific meetings or academic courses of interest to the readers
Blood Advances, a Journal of the American Society of Hematology, published online and open access, provides an international forum for the publication of original articles describing basic laboratory, translational, and clinical investigations in hematology and related sciences. Blood Advances will complement Blood by publishing content not currently covered including case reports, point-counterpoint discussions, and by providing forums to readily comment on published material. The electronic format of Blood Advances provides an opportunity to explore novel approaches for presentation of original content including the use of enhanced graphics, video and online discussion. Additionally, it is hoped that Blood Advances will serve as a hub for dissemination of educational and service needs by providing scholarly content and expert consultation requested by interested parties.Acceptance of manuscripts is based on the originality or importance of the observations and investigations, the quality of the work and validity of the evidence, the clarity of presentation, and the relevance to our readership and field. All articles are expected to be concise, well organized, and clearly written. Authors submit a manuscript with the understanding that the manuscript (or its essential substance) has not been published other than as an abstract in any language or format and is not currently submitted elsewhere for print or electronic publication.Blood Advances has recently added a new scientific category for Health Services and Outcomes submissions. The journal is very interested in submissions as reflected in the definition here.Primary research articles will be published under the following scientific categories: Clinical Trials and Observations; Gene Therapy; Health Services and Outcomes (new); Hematopoiesis and Stem Cells; Immunobiology; Myeloid Neoplasia; Lymphoid Neoplasia; Phagocytes, Granulocytes and Myelopoiesis; Platelets and Thrombopoiesis; Red Cells, Iron and Erythropoiesis; Thrombosis and Hemostasis; Transfusion Medicine; Transplantation; and Vascular Biology. Papers can be listed under more than one category as appropriate.Authors are invited to contact the Editor-in-Chief prior to submission if they are uncertain whether their work falls within the general scope of the journal. For presubmission inquiries regarding the journal scope, please contact the Blood Advances Editorial Department and include an abstract or detailed summary for consideration.
Blood Immunology & Cellular Therapy provides an international forum for the publication of original articles describing basic laboratory, translational, and clinical investigations related to blood immunology. The journal welcomes original work relevant to hematological disease with significant clinical or scientific impact, including papers relevant to immunotherapy, transplantation biology, transplantation, and immunodiagnostics. Immune responses against diseases or viruses would generally be outside the scope but approaches to treat viral infections in the post-transplant setting, e.g., CMV-specific responses, might be of interest.
