Neuroscience and BioBehavioral Reviews is a peer-reviewed journal publishing reviews that integrate brain function and behavior across a range of areas including physiology, psychology, health and disease across the entire lifecourse of model organisms, and humans. The journal publishes review articles, mini-reviews, opinion pieces, and society consensus statements, which are novel and of exceptional significance.Submiss... to the journal are actively encouraged which deal with topics not only in the more traditional areas of behavioral neuroscience, and psychology, but also in the following areas, whenever the reviews bring new insights into brain-behavior relations or biobehavioral health: Aging biology and geroscience, Biological psychiatry, Cognitive neuroscience, Computational modelling and AI, Developmental biology, Endocrinology, Evolutionary Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Metabolic regulation and nutrition, Neuroeconomics, Neuropsychology, Physiology, Pharmacology, and other related disciplines. We do not publish empirical papers, and no unpublished data should be included in the manuscripts. New analyses and modelling of previously published and publicly available dataset are allowed as long as their inclusion is essential to support the narrative of the Review. Simple data re-analyses (including meta-analyses) without a new conceptual or theoretical framework will not be considered. We welcome review articles from clinical researchers whose submission exceeds the high-quality threshold for the journal and significantly advances our understanding of a field.We require a statement disclosing any use of AI tools to assist in writing the acknowledgements section. If none, simply state “No AI tool was used to generate any part of the paper”. Biological Psychology
Biological Psychology publishes original scientific papers on neural, endocrine, immune, and other physiological aspects of psychological states and processes. Such aspects include assessments by biochemistry, electrophysiology, and neuroimaging during psychological experiments as well as biologically induced changes in psychological function. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are also of interest. All aspects of psychological functioning, including psychopathology, are germane.The Journal is focused on work with human individuals, but may consider work with animals, if conceptually related to issues in human biological psychology. The Journal welcomes work that spans disciplines and methods and recruits an editorial team that is especially suited for handling such manuscripts. Empirical reports are the core of the Journal, but methodological and theoretical reports relevant to biological psychology are encouraged (see list of article types for more information). The journal is interdisciplinary and aims to integrate the neurosciences and behavioral sciences. Empirical, theoretical, and review articles are encouraged in the following areas:• Cerebral psychophysiology: including functional brain mapping and neuroimaging with Event-Related Potentials (ERPs), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and Electroencephalograp... studies. • Autonomic functions: including bilateral electrodermal activity, pupillometry and blood volume changes. • Cardiovascular Psychophysiology:inc... studies of blood pressure, cardiac functioning and respiration. • Somatic psychophysiology: including muscle activity, eye movements and eye blinks.Manuscripts will detail the study of physiological measures such as the ones mentioned, or others, along with a variety of behavioral measures that may include sensation and perception, learning, memory, evolution and development of behaviour, motivation and emotion, aggression and defence, interhemispheric relations, information processing, sleep, stress, psychopharmacology and psychophysiological disorders.Also considered will be papers on Clinical Psychophysiology (cognitive, affective and psychotic disorders and psychopharmacology), including applied Psychophysiology (eg, ergonomics) and effects of behavior on immune function.

Human Movement Science
A Journal Devoted to Pure and Applied Research on Human MovementHuman Movement Science provides a medium for publishing disciplinary and multidisciplinary studies on human movement. It brings together psychological, biomechanical and neurophysiological research on the control, organization and learning of human movement, including the perceptual support of movement. The overarching goal of the journal is to publish articles that help advance theoretical understanding of the control and organization of human movement, as well as changes therein as a function of development, learning and rehabilitation. The nature of the research reported may vary from fundamental theoretical or empirical studies to more applied studies in the fields of, for example, sport, dance and rehabilitation with the proviso that all studies have a distinct theoretical bearing. Also, we consider both systematic and met-analytical reviews of human movement. Narrative reviews are by invitation only.These aims and scope imply that purely descriptive studies are not acceptable, while methodological articles are only acceptable if the methodology in question opens up new vistas in understanding the control and organization of human movement. The same holds for articles on exercise physiology, which in general are not supported, unless they speak to the control and organization of human movement. In general, it is required that the theoretical message of articles published in Human Movement Science is, to a certain extent, innovative and not dismissible as just "more of the same."Human Movement Science will consider hypothesis-driven analyses and exploratory analyses for which the need for exploration can be motivated; the exploratory nature of any such analysis should be clearly stated. In line with its commitment to publishing methodologically sound studies, Human Movement Science now offers the possibility to publish high-powered hypothesis driven research and high-impact replications as Registered Reports. Through pre registration of hypotheses and methodology and results-independent editorial decisions, this article type neutralizes many questionable research practices incentivised by today's publish-or-perish pressures.In addition to regular issues, special issues addressing a single theme will be published. In case of special issues the above criteria may be softened if the guest editor(s) is (are) of the opinion that this will further the insight into the theme of the special issue in question. Computers in Human Behavior
Computers in Human Behavior is a scholarly journal dedicated to examining the use of computers from a psychological perspective. Original theoretical works, research reports, literature reviews, software reviews, book reviews and announcements are published. The journal addresses both the use of computers in psychology, psychiatry and related disciplines as well as the psychological impact of computer use on individuals, groups and society. The former category includes articles exploring the use of computers for professional practice, training, research and theory development. The latter category includes articles dealing with the psychological effects of computers on phenomena such as human development, learning, cognition, personality, and social interactions. The journal addresses human interactions with computers, not computers per se. The computer is discussed only as a medium through which human behaviors are shaped and expressed. The primary message of most articles involves information about human behavior. Therefore, professionals with an interest in the psychological aspects of computer use, but with limited knowledge of computers, will find this journal of interest.
