Journals in Parasitology
Journals in Parasitology
This collection explores human parasites, transmission mechanisms, and control strategies. Supporting microbiologists, public health professionals, and clinicians, it features diagnostic techniques, epidemiology, and treatment advances for parasitic infections such as malaria, leishmaniasis, and helminthiases, vital for disease control and eradication efforts worldwide.
Food Webs
The journal Food Webs publishes original research articles, focused reviews and short communication papers examining the species interactions that structure ecological communities. This interdisciplinary journal encompasses both experimental and theoretical research that seeks a mechanistic understanding of the influence of these interactions on the composition of communities and functioning of ecosystems. As such, articles focus on a multitude of areas within the area of food web biology. These include, but are not limited to, the following: • simple trophic relationships and cascading effects between levels of a community • multi-species interactions and the structuring of populations and communities • effect of competition and co-existence of species in defining trophic relationships • effect of perturbation on species and interaction pathways • quantifying direct and indirect effects on populations • stability and productivity of food webs • empirical and theoretical assessment of food web structure and complexity • models explaining food web structure and trophic relationshipsFood Webs will consider papers from terrestrial, freshwater and marine systems, without any bias for the taxa being studied or techniques used- ISSN: 2352-2496

Protist
Protist is the international forum for reporting substantial and novel findings in any area of research on protists. The criteria for acceptance of manuscripts are scientific excellence, significance, and interest for a broad readership. Suitable subject areas include: molecular, cell and developmental biology, biochemistry, systematics and phylogeny, and ecology of protists. Both autotrophic and heterotrophic protists as well as parasites are covered. The journal publishes original papers, review/mini-review articles and short historical perspectives.Protist was formerly known as Archiv fur Protistenkunde.- ISSN: 1434-4610

Research Areas include areas relevant to biologicals for human and veterinary use such as:Bacterial vaccinesBlood productsCell biologyCell culture technologyCellular immunology Cytokines and allied mediators Diagnostics Downstream processing Gene transfer and expression General bacteriology General virology, endogenous and adventitious viruses Hormones Immunochemistry Molecular biology Monoclonal antibodies Parasitology Prion and prion disease Protein chemistry Toxins ToxoidsViral vaccines- ISSN: 1045-1056

Indian Journal of Medical Microbiology
An official journal of the Indian Association of Medical MicrobiologistsIndia... Journal of Medical Microbiology (IJMM) provides comprehensive coverage of medical microbiology, as well as infectious diseases. We welcome wide ranging contributions; from basic research at laboratory to clinical trials, including bacteriology, mycobacteriology, virology, mycology and parasitology, infection prevention and control, and infectious diseases. We publish articles under the following subject categories:Antimicro... susceptibility and antimicrobial stewardship: surveillance of antimicrobial susceptibility in bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites of importance in humans, animals, and the environment that are frequently interconnected; mechanisms of action, resistance and interactions. The role of antimicrobial stewardship programs in hospitals and its effectiveness.Clinic... microbiology: understanding pathogenesis, virulence factors of the diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, mycobacteria, parasites and fungi in humans, clinical presentation, newer methods and tools for diagnosis of disease and therapeutic options; community health with respect to infection burden and prevention, disease epidemiology and climate change.Emerging infectious diseases: understanding the epidemiology of new and emerging infections or old infections having a resurgence in humans including zoonosis; their pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment.Medical mycology and mycobacteriology: pathogenesis, diagnosis, drug susceptibility, therapy, clinical immunology, autoimmune diseases, and immune responses to infections, vaccine development, epidemiology, public health and outbreak investigation of diseases in humans.Hospital infection: various hospital associated infections -their analysis, control, prevention and lessons learnt, newer methodologies to track HAI's, hospital outbreaks.Molecular studies: application of phenotypic, genotypic and molecular techniques in the study of virulence, AMR genes, epidemiology, outbreak investigations and public health.Microbiome and microbial ecology in health: the normal microbiome and dysbiosis; structure of microbial ecosystems and communities; microbial ecology, with an emphasis on how microorganisms interact with their environment, their host and each other and their impact on general health and treatment of disease. the normal microbiome and dysbiosis and its association with disease conditions; and microbial ecosystems and communities.Immunolo... Clinical immunology, autoimmune diseases, and immune responses to infectionsVaccinolog... and therapeutics: research in identifying vaccine targets, novel drug discovery and therapeutics.IJMM publishes article types such as original research, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, clinical trials, correspondence, case reports and a new section - infectious disease grand rounds.High quality scientific content related to infections from dental and veterinary sciences (like zoonotic illnesses) can also be submitted.- ISSN: 0255-0857
