    BBA Bioenergetics covers the area of biological membranes involved in energy transfer and conversion. In particular, it focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms and structure-function relationships of bioenergetic components of photosynthesis, mitochondrial and bacterial respiration, oxidative phosphorylation, and motility and transport, as well as their structural aspects. The journal spans applications of advanced biochemical and biophysical approaches, including spectroscopy, structural biology, and molecular modeling in these systems.   • Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology - Part D: Genomics and Proteomics

    Comparative Biochemistry & Physiology (CBP) publishes papers in comparative, environmental and evolutionary physiology.Part D: Genomics and Proteomics (CBPD), focuses on “omics” approaches to physiology, including comparative and functional genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics. Most studies employ “omics” and/or system biology to test specific hypotheses about molecular and biochemical mechanisms underlying physiological responses to the environment.
