Journals in Immunopathogenesis
Journals in Immunopathogenesis
Focusing on the mechanisms underlying immune-related diseases, this portfolio explores autoimmunity, hypersensitivity, and immune dysregulation. It benefits researchers, clinicians, and students seeking to understand disease development at the immune level. Featuring case studies, molecular insights, and therapeutic approaches, these resources support the advancement of targeted treatments and personalized medicine strategies in immune-mediated disorders.
Journal of Hospital Infection
An Official Journal of the Healthcare Infection SocietyThe Journal of Hospital Infection is the editorially independent scientific publication of the Healthcare Infection Society. The aim of the Journal is to publish high quality research and information relating to infection prevention and control that is relevant to an international audience. The Journal welcomes submissions that relate to all aspects of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings. This includes submissions that:provide new insight into the epidemiology, surveillance, or prevention and control of healthcare-associate... infections and antimicrobial resistance in healthcare settings;provide new insight into cleaning, disinfection and decontamination;prov... new insight into the design of healthcare premises;describe novel aspects of outbreaks of infection;throw light on techniques for effective antimicrobial stewardship;describe novel techniques (laboratory-based or point of care) for the detection of infection or antimicrobial resistance in the healthcare setting, particularly if these can be used to facilitate infection prevention and control;improve understanding of the motivations of safe healthcare behaviour, or describe techniques for achieving behavioural and cultural change;improve understanding of the use of IT systems in infection surveillance and prevention and control. We also welcome submissions that relate to national policies or guidelines, especially where the subject matter is of international relevance.Although our readership is predominantly clinical, we are also pleased to receive basic science submissions that have clinical relevance. The Journal's open access companion title, Infection Prevention in Practice, welcomes a range of submissions providing practical information to healthcare professionals working in infection prevention and control.- ISSN: 0195-6701

Journal of Neuroimmunology
The Journal of Neuroimmunology affords a forum for the publication of works on all branches of the neurosciences with the scope of uncovering aspects of neuro-immune interactions. Specific areas of interest are related (but not exclusive) to neuroinflammatory, neurodegenerative, neuroinfectious, and psychiatric diseases, peripheral neuropathies, spinal cord injury, neuroimaging, studies on central nervous systems (CNS) barriers and lymphatics, brain cancer, role of innate and adaptive immunity, immunometabolism and metabolic regulation of neuro-immune responses, and the gut microbiome in CNS health and diseases. The scope of the Journal is broad, covering both research and clinical problems of neuroscientific interest giving priorities to cutting edge and novel work.A major aim of the Journal is to encourage the development of approaches to analyze in depth the neuroimmune system and interactions between neurons, glial, and immune cells.- ISSN: 0165-5728

Autoimmunity Reviews
Autoimmunity Reviews will publish up-to-date, structured reviews on diverse topics in autoimmunity, written by first-class experts in the field. The articles will include demonstrative illustrations and tables and will all have a "take-home" message.Articles will principally be invited by the Editors-in-Chief upon the recommendations of the international Editorial Board, and will cover all fields of autoimmunology, bridging the gap between basic and clinical sciences. Contributions in basic sciences will include those on the pathophysiology and mechanisms of disorders as well as genomics and proteomics; clinical contributions will focus upon the diseases, novel therapies and clinical associations.- ISSN: 1568-9972

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta: Molecular Basis of Disease
BBA Molecular Basis of Disease addresses the biochemistry and molecular genetics of disease processes and models of human disease.Manuscripts should emphasize the underlying molecular mechanisms of human disease pathways and provide significant advances to the understanding and/or treatment of these disorders.Studies in model organisms or systems are strongly recommended in order to validate mechanistic insights.
