Human Immunology publishes full-length, original, hypothesis-driven basic and clinical research articles as well as brief communications, reviews and editorials covering immunogenetics, transplantation immunology, autoimmunity, and immunity to infectious diseases in humans. The journal welcomes collaborative contributions dedicated to the state-of-the-art of immunology topics, as well as commentaries on those topics.Preference is given to papers of immediate importance to other investigators. Therefore, the essential criteria for publication are clarity, experimental soundness and novelty. Results contradictory to current accepted thinking or ideas divergent from actual dogmas are considered for publication provided they are based on solid experimental findings.
