Neuron publishes high-quality, interdisciplinary research across the full spectrum of the field, from mechanistic studies in model organisms to systems-level studies of human cognition and behavior. Our evolving and broad scope encompasses molecular, cellular, and developmental neurobiology; psychiatric and neurological disease; brain-body interactions and systems neuroscience; perception, emotion, and higher cognitive processes; and theoretical and computational approaches relevant to artificial intelligence.
