Neuron publishes high-quality research across the full spectrum of the neurosciences, from molecular and cellular mechanisms in model organisms to systems-level studies of human cognition and behavior. Our scope is comprehensive and adaptable, encompassing molecular, cellular, and developmental neurobiology; psychiatric and neurological disease; systems neuroscience; perception, emotion, and higher cognitive processes; and theoretical and computational work relevant to artificial intelligence.
