Data and Information Management publishes original research that focuses on data analytics and application in the fields of library and information science, and information management. It aims to improve the innovation and development of technology, process and solution.

DIM is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal concerning business information, academic information, government and public information management, knowledge discovery and organization, semantic analysis, digital humanities and so on. This journal serves the interests of scholars and researchers in sharing and disseminating their research by providing an effective forum for the timely dissemination. It is featured in information behavior and interaction.

Specific topic areas may include but not limited to:

Innovative theories and technologies in data-driven information analytics, including knowledge discovery and organization, cloud computing, machine learning, information visualization, and human-computer interaction

Information organization and retrieval, and information search behaviors in data intensive environments such as social media
