The journal aims to meet the information need of wound care specialists and service providers by publishing papers on clinical service modeling, service delivery modeling and financial modeling for different reimbursement systems. Submissions are encouraged from leading international experts including those who have a keen interest in wound care management from a health economics perspective, and those involved directly in the care of patients with wounds. In addition, submissions are welcome which advance the translation of science into clinical practice/application to improve outcomes and the patient experience with an emphasis on both health improvement and economic benefits.
Topics covered will also include clinical research and its impact on the treatment of wounds. This will facilitate the development of standards and enhancement of guidelines and enable further modification of practice benefiting health care professionals in and beyond Europe as well as the development of international consensus findings.
