Trends in Biochemical Sciences

Trends in Biochemical Sciences (TIBS) is a leading peer-reviewed journal for biochemistry and molecular biology. For 50 years, TIBS has helped researchers understand the significance of emerging discoveries by providing authoritative, accessible, and forward-looking synthesis.

The journal covers the breadth of modern biochemistry, from protein structure and function, molecular recognition, signaling, and metabolism to epigenetics, biomolecular condensates, and the molecular basis of disease. TIBS also explores how biochemical thinking contributes to major challenges in health, sustainability, and society. We particularly welcome work that connects disciplines and identifies important directions for future research.

Published monthly, TIBS is an editorially curated journal.
