Surgery Open Science

Surgery Open Science is an open access journal publishing original, high quality basic and clinical science submissions as well as thoughtful, rigorous systematic reviews and meta-analyses across all surgical specialties. The journal also publishes technical notes, images in surgery and letters to the Editor. Case reports and book reviews are not accepted by the journal. Surgery Open Science aims to provide an open access platform looking at the latest knowledge and developments in all fields of surgery, new techniques and innovations to promote all aspects of surgery, from general to specialized fields.

Research on new technologies, as robotics and artificial intelligence as well as manuscripts focusing on educational aspects and career development of surgeons are also welcome.
