Energy storage must be the principal research subject and must be addressed through a clear and substantive scientific, technological, or system-level contribution.The specific optimization techniques applied although relevant for research replicability will not be considered as novel aspects and highlighting them in the title is not recommended. Use of storage solutions (like PCM) to improve performance of energy harvesting systems fits the scope of the journal given strong focus on the storage solution properties itself. The Journal of Energy Storage does not accept resubmissions of manuscripts that have previously undergone peer review by the journal and received a rejection decision. This applies to revised, retitled, or otherwise modified versions of the rejected manuscript. Resubmission is permitted only when explicitly invited by the Editor-in-Chief.The journal does not welcome submissions divided into “Part I” and “Part II” or similar sequential manuscripts. The study should be presented as a single, self-contained manuscript containing all essential methods, analyses, and conclusions. A Review Section of Physics LettersThe journal Physics Reports publishes timely reviews which are more extensive than just literature surveys but normally less than a full monograph. Each report deals with one specific subject and is generally published in a separate volume. These reviews are specialist in nature but contain enough introductory material to make the main points intelligible to a non-specialist. The reader will not only be able to distinguish important developments and trends in physics but will also find a sufficient number of references to the original literature.Starting in 2025, Physics Reports will inaugurate a new "Rapid Reviews” section. Rapid Reviews are intended to be shorter reviews, which can be completed more quickly (on order three months) than regular reviews, on exciting new subjects. They are intended to reach a broader audience but go into less technical detail than a regular Physics Reports review. The target length is on order 20 pages (as opposed to regular reviews, which are intended to be more than 50 journal pages) and the reviews are intended to allow more in the way of editorializing than regular articles, which are intended to be more balanced, complete, and pedagogical. The Journal of Computational Physics (JCP) focuses on the computational aspects of physical problems. The journal is concerned with fundamental oceanography of the deep sea in the broadest sense. This includes, ocean physics including circulation, waves, turbulence, thermodynamics, optics, acoustics, mixing, or other process studies, atmosphere ocean coupling, primary production, organic carbon fluxes, chemistry, palaeoceanography, geophysics, sedimentology, all aspects of biology from microbes to marine mammals, physiology, ecology, biogeography, evolution, behaviour and anthropological impacts.The deep sea is interpreted to be the ocean beyond the continental shelf. Papers dealing exclusively with areas inshore of the shelf break are in general more appropriate to our companion journal Continental Shelf Research.Instruments and Methods papers can describe novel hardware, vehicles, research vessels, instrumentation, sensors (physical, chemical or biological), survey methods, analysis and calibration methods as well as software and novel data-analysis techniques but with the caveat of evidence of successful use in oceanography. We do not accept applied science/technology papers on deep-sea mining, drilling, bio-prospecting or management of fish stocks in which the aim is not oceanographic research. In biological papers, we welcome descriptions of new species but these should be in the context of advancing knowledge of ecology, evolution and biogeography in the deep sea; purely taxonomic papers should be submitted to a specialist journal.Deep-Sea Research Part I: Oceanographic Research Papers, considers four types of paper: Research Papers: These should report results of original scientific research, including theoretical work of evident oceanographic applicability.
