While this research forum invites submissions using rigorous methodologies in all related areas, it focuses on basic and applied research in unintentional injury and illness prevention. Affiliated with the National Safety Council, it seeks to engage the global scientific community including academic researchers, engineers, government agencies, policy makers, corporate decision makers, safety professionals and practitioners, psychologists, social scientists, and public health professionals.

    The International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health was founded in 1883 as Zentralblatt fur Hygiene und Umweltmedizin and merged with Environmental Epidemiology and Toxicology in 2000. The journal serves as a multidisciplinary forum for reports on exposure assessment as well as reactions to and consequences of human exposure to the biological, chemical, and physical environment.Priority will be given to articles on: • Epidemiological aspects of environmental toxicology • Human biomonitoring • Exposure to mixtures • Health risk assessments • Susceptible (sub) populations • Public health aspects of exposure-related outcomes • Evidence-based intervention and policy • Sanitation and clean water

    NanoImpact - an International Journal of Particle Safety Research - is a multidisciplinary journal that focuses on engineered and environmental particle and advanced material safety research such as micro-nanoplastics, ambient particles and engineered nanomaterials. Materials of interest to NanoImpact are micro- and nanoplastics, advanced materials including manufactured but also incidental nanomaterials and ultrafine particles. As such it will publish in the following areas:• All aspects of micro- and nanoplastics research related to the topics listed below • Human Nanotoxicology - nano-bio interactions and effects on human health • Econanotoxicology - nano-bio interactions and effects on organism and ecosystem health • Exposure - nanomaterial formation, release, transformation fate and behavior in the environment and human/engineered systems • Applications in agricultural systems if a clear connection to implications is made • Risk Assessment and Life Cycle Assessment • Nano-informatics - modelling, data curation • Nano-governance - policy, regulation, perceptionNanoImpact DOES NOT publish articles describing synthesis of new nanomaterials. Other areas, such as the development of methodological and modelling approaches and the development of materials and methods to enhance nanosafety, are appropriate if there is a clear and demonstrable link to the above themes.
