Please note that the Journal of Unconventional Oil and Gas Resources is now closed to new submissions, as it is being merged with the two related Journals below from January 1 2017.We would therefore like to strongly encourage you to submit your paper instead to either:Journal of Petroleum Science & Engineering,(2015 Impact Factor = 1.416), if your paper relates to any aspect of Unconventional Petroleum Resources https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-petroleum-science-and-engineeringJournal of Natural Gas Science & Engineering, (2015 Impact Factor = 2.157), if your paper relates to any aspect of Unconventional Gas Resources https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-natural-gas-science-and-engineeringIn case of queries please contact Journal of Natural Gas Science & Engineering Editorial team https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-natural-gas-science-and-engineering/editorial-board/david-wood or the Journal of Petroleum Science & Engineering Editorial team https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-petroleum-science-and-engineering/editorial-board/vural-sander-suicmezLinks to Further Information, including the Scope of both Journals and the respective Guide for Authors:https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-petroleum-science-and-engineeringJournal of Petroleum Science & Engineering home pagehttps://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-natural-gas-science-and-engineering/Journal of Natural Gas Science & Engineering home page
Marine and Petroleum Geology is the international forum for all areas covering marine and petroleum geology. The journal aims to advance the environmentally sustainable exploration and utilization of natural resources of petroleum and gas hydrate. Science and engineering advancement in the form of using geological formations for safe storage of various gases to help achieve net-zero carbon goals is particularly welcomed. Rapid bimonthly publication allows early communication of papers or short communication to the geoscience community.Marine and Petroleum Geology is essential reading for geologists, geophysicists and explorationists in academia, government, and industry working in the following areas: marine geology; basin analysis and evaluation; organic geochemistry; reserve/resource estimation; seismic stratigraphy; thermal models of basic evolution; sedimentary geology; continental margins; geophysical interpretation; structural geology/tectonics; formation evaluation techniques; well logging.Benefits to authors We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Please click here for more information on our author services. Please see our Guide for Authors for information on article submission. NB, for journal-specific requirements please consult the Policies and Guidelines section of the journal website https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/marine-and-petroleum-geology/about/policies. This journal welcomes contributions that support and advance the UN's sustainable development goals, in particular SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy)
The International Journal for the Rapid Publication of Current Research in Organic Geochemistry and Biogeochemistry and The Official Journal of the European Association of Organic GeochemistsOrganic Geochemistry serves as the only dedicated medium for the publication of peer-reviewed research on all phases of geochemistry in which organic compounds play a major role. The Editors welcome contributions covering a wide spectrum of subjects in the geosciences broadly based on organic chemistry (including molecular and isotopic geochemistry), and involving geology, biogeochemistry, environmental geochemistry, chemical oceanography and hydrology. The scope of the journal includes research involving petroleum (including natural gas), coal, organic matter in the aqueous environment and recent sediments, organic-rich rocks and soils and the role of organics in the geochemical cycling of the elements.Sedimentological, paleontological and organic petrographic studies will also be considered for publication, provided that they are geochemically oriented. Papers cover the full range of research activities in organic geochemistry, and include comprehensive review articles, technical communications, discussion/reply correspondence and short technical notes. Peer-reviews organised through three Chief Editors and a staff of Associate Editors, are conducted by well known, respected scientists from academia, government and industry. The journal also publishes reviews of books, announcements of important conferences and meetings and other matters of direct interest to the organic geochemical community. This journal welcomes contributions that support and advance the UN's sustainable development goals, in particular SDG 14 (Life below water)
Petroleum Exploration and Development aims to contribute to the scientific and technological development of petroleum exploration and production and to promote the innovative ability of scholars and workers. The journal publishes, in both Chinese and English, original papers on all aspects of petroleum sciences, including petroleum geology, geophysics, geochemistry, exploration and development of oil and gas fields, reservoir engineering, reservoir protection and stimulation, oil storage and transportation, oil and gas chemistry, petroleum machinery, petroleum business administration, and history of the petroleum industry. The purposes of this journal are to disseminate and communicate current science and technology for petroleum and to publish the latest theoretical and technological developments and research results in China and worldwide relating to petroleum geology, oil and gas field development, and petroleum engineering. The topics of interest for this journal include petroleum exploration, oil and gas field development, petroleum engineering, comprehensive research, and academic discussions.Editorial Board
