This open access journal publishes a range of article types, including original research articles, minireviews, and viewpoints that address all areas of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. These areas include, but are not limited to, topics on interactions of chemicals with biological systems; drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and disposition; drug delivery; mechanisms of drug actions; pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics; toxicology and adverse drug responses; behavioral pharmacology and drugs of abuse; and preclinical, translational, and clinical pharmacology. The journal will cover all types of therapeutic indications, such as cardiovascular, infectious, neurological, and cancerous; all forms of therapeutics, such as small molecules, biologics, and cells; and all research approaches, such as molecular, cellular, and systems pharmacology.
Current Pharmaceutical Analysis publishes full-length/mini reviews and original research articles on all the most recent advances in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis. All aspects of the field are represented including drug analysis and pharmacological research. The journal is essential to all involved in pharmaceutical, biochemical, biomedicine and clinical analysis. This journal contains four sections:Section A (Pharmaceutical Science): This section focuses on the discovery, development, evaluation, and regulation of medications and therapies. Its main goal is to enhance human health by developing new pharmaceutical products, refining drug delivery methods, and ensuring both the safety and effectiveness of treatments.Section B (Toxicology and Pharmaceutics): This section focuses on the formulation, development, and toxicology response of drugs. It encompasses the design and testing of drug delivery systems to ensure optimal absorption, distribution, effectiveness and toxicity of medications in the body.Section C (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology): This section focuses on the utilizing biological systems, processes, or organisms to create drugs and treatments. It encompasses the development of biopharmaceuticals, including vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, gene therapies, and bionanotechnology. Additionally, it involves the application of bioengineering methods to alter cells and microorganisms for therapeutic applications.Section D (Drug Discovery): This section focuses on the identification, design, and development of new pharmaceutical compounds aimed at treating various diseases. It involves investigating novel chemical entities, natural substances, and biological molecules, utilizing methods such as high-throughput screening, molecular modeling, and structure-based drug design. The main goal is to discover safe, effective, and targeted treatments by comprehending disease mechanisms and refining lead compounds through preclinical evaluation.Editorial Board
Heliyon considers research from all areas of the physical, applied, life, social and medical sciences. We publish manuscripts reporting scientifically accurate and valuable research, which adheres to accepted ethical and scientific publishing standards. As such Heliyon publishes new insights as well as extensions on existing theories, negative/null results and replication studies.Submissions covering arts, humanities and law are not considered in Heliyon. Authors of these submissions are encouraged to submit directly to our partner journal Social Sciences & Humanities Open.Heliyon classifies manuscripts/articles into different sections based on the research topic discussed. Some sections exclude certain types of studies from their scope. To know more and to see the kind of manuscripts the various sections publish, please visit: https://www.cell.com/heliyon/sectionsA dedicated in-house editorial office team, internal editors as well as external academic section and associate editors handle your manuscript and manage the publication process, giving your research the editorial support and quality control it deserves. If it's important to you, it's important to us.
