AimsValue in Health aims to be a leading source of new methods, best practice guidelines, and innovative research in the field of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).Value in Health aims to publish papers that expand the frontiers of HEOR science and have a direct impact on the methods used in HEOR and the evidence on value used in healthcare decision making around the world.Scope Value in Health publishes a wide range of article types that contribute to our aims, including:Original theoretical, conceptual and empirical research in HEOR. Our principal interest is in research that contributes to and extends the way value in healthcare is defined and measured, including (but not limited to):methods for the economic evaluation of drugs and other healthcare technologies; outcomes research to strengthen the methods and evidence available to reflect patient and societal perspectives on effectiveness and value.Innovative and high-impact applications of HEOR methods with interest and relevance beyond the specific country and disease area.Good Practices Reports: Value in Health publishes ISPOR’s Good Practices Reports that identify best and emerging practices in a wide range of areas within HEOR.Systematic Reviews: The Editors welcome systematic reviews of any aspect of HEOR. These should go beyond describing a given body of work by synthesizing and critically reviewing the literature and drawing out lessons for HEOR methods and practice. These papers should review empirical studies consistent with the methods outlined by the Cochrane Collaboration and PRISMA. Health Policy Analyses: Analysis and commentary on health policy issues with global relevance to the pursuit of a world where healthcare is effective, efficient, and affordable for all.The ISPOR journal portfolio consists of Value in Health and Value in Health Regional Issues. Journal of Neuroimmunology
The Journal of Neuroimmunology affords a forum for the publication of works on all branches of the neurosciences with the scope of uncovering aspects of neuro-immune interactions. We seek original manuscripts, brief reports, review articles, clinical case reports, letters to the editor, and commentaries from our colleagues in Anthropology, Education, Ethics, Global Health, Health Services Research, Law, Medicine, Mental and Behavorial Health, Nursing, Nutrition, Psychology, Public Health and Policy, Social Work, Sociology, Youth Development, and other disciplines that work with or are committed to improving the health and well-being of adolescents and young adults. Image and Vision Computing has as a primary aim the provision of an effective medium of interchange for the results of high quality theoretical and applied research fundamental to all aspects of image interpretation and computer vision. The journal publishes work that proposes new image interpretation and computer vision methodology or addresses the application of such methods to real world scenes. It seeks to strengthen a deeper understanding in the discipline by encouraging the quantitative comparison and performance evaluation of the proposed methodology. The coverage includes: image interpretation, scene modelling, object recognition and tracking, shape analysis, monitoring and surveillance, active vision and robotic systems, SLAM, biologically-inspire... computer vision, motion analysis, stereo vision, document image understanding, character and handwritten text recognition, face and gesture recognition, biometrics, vision-based human-computer interaction, human activity and behavior understanding, data fusion from multiple sensor inputs, image databases.In addition to regular manuscripts, Image and Vision Computing Journal solicits manuscripts for the Opinions Column, aimed at initiating a free forum for vision researchers to express their opinions on past, current, or future successes and challenges in research and the community.An opinion paper should be succinct and focused on a particular topic. Addressing multiple related topics is also possible if this helps making the point. While posing questions helps raising awareness about certain issues, ideally, an opinion paper should also suggest a concrete direction how to address the issues. Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews
The aim of the Journal is to provide a forum for the critical analysis of advanced drug and gene delivery systems and their applications in human and veterinary medicine. The Journal has a broad scope, covering the key issues for effective drug and gene delivery, from administration to site-specific delivery.In general, the Journal publishes review articles in a Theme Issue format. Each Theme Issue provides a comprehensive and critical examination of current and emerging research on the design and development of advanced drug and gene delivery systems and their application to experimental and clinical therapeutics. The goal is to illustrate the pivotal role of a multidisciplinary approach to modern drug delivery, encompassing the application of sound biological and physicochemical principles to the engineering of drug delivery systems to meet the therapeutic need at hand. Importantly the Editorial Team of ADDR asks that the authors effectively window the extensive volume of literature, pick the important contributions and explain their importance, produce a forward looking identification of the challenges facing the field and produce a Conclusions section with expert recommendations to address the issues.Articles review the current status of a specific topic, giving equal emphasis to the identification of major conceptual and technological challenges to successful drug and gene delivery, to an evaluation of triumphs as well as shortcomings in current conceptual and technical approaches, and to a discussion of their possible solution.Theme issues are commissioned by one of the Executive Editors or the Editor-in-Chief. The Arts in Psychotherapy is a dynamic, contemporary journal publishing evidence-based research, expert opinion, theoretical positions, and case material on a wide range of topics intersecting the fields of mental health and creative arts therapies.
