Seminars in Roentgenology
Seminars in Roentgenology is designed primarily for the practicing radiologist and for the resident. Each quarterly issue compiled by a leading guest editor covers a single topic of current importance. The clinical, pathological, and roentgenologic aspects are emphasized, while research and techniques are discussed insofar as they provide documentation and clarification of the subject under discussion. This Seminars series is of interest to radiologists, sonographers, and radiologic technicians. Please see our Guide for Authors for information on article submission. If you require any further information or help, please visit our Support Center- ISSN: 0037-198X

Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology
Journal Canadien d'Ophtalmologie Official journal of the Canadian Ophthalmological SocietyThe Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology (CJO) is the official journal of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and is committed to timely publication of original, peer-reviewed ophthalmology and vision science articles.- ISSN: 0008-4182

Journal of Investigative Dermatology
The Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID) publishes high impact reports describing original research related to all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease. Descriptions of important findings that result from basic, translational, or clinical research are appropriate for submission. Clinical research can include, but is not limited to, interventional trials, genetic studies, epidemiology, and health services research. The JID places a high priority on publication of new insights into basic cutaneous biology, disease pathogenesis, and treatment. Reports that describe a new methodology, technique, or tool in combination with mechanistic insights into the problem that is being investigated are encouraged. It is possible that occasional descriptions of novel technology, methodology, or resources that are of special interest or utility to JID readers could be competitive for publication, even in the absence of new mechanistic insights. Reports describing novel variants in known genes with no new mechanistic data will not be reviewed. Case reports or case series, unless they provide new biologic insights, are rarely appropriate for submission. Purely hypothesis generating clinical research such as analysis of case reports, pharmacovigilance reports (for example, analyses of FAERS), unless truly novel, or accompanied with hypothesis testing approaches (e.g., cohort, case-control, clinical trial, and/or mechanistic laboratory studies) are not within the JID Scope. Clinical research using administrative claims or electronic medical record data (for example, TriNetX) should have evidence that the codes validly represent the variables being studied and that the data are complete enough to yield valid inferences.Standard features of the Journal include Original Articles, Review Articles, and Letters to the Editor. Perspectives and Commentaries are invited by the Editorial Board. All articles are peer reviewed prior to acceptance and publication, and some invited articles may ultimately not be accepted for publication. Online features enhance JID content, making it more relevant and accessible, especially to non-scientists, trainees, and clinician-educators.- ISSN: 0022-202X

Cancer Genetics
The aim of Cancer Genetics is to publish high quality scientific papers on the cellular, genetic and molecular aspects of cancer, including cancer predisposition and clinical diagnostic applications. Specific areas of interest include descriptions of new chromosomal, molecular or epigenetic alterations in benign and malignant diseases; novel laboratory approaches for identification and characterization of chromosomal rearrangements or genomic alterations in cancer cells; correlation of genetic changes with pathology and clinical presentation; and the molecular genetics of cancer predisposition. To reach a basic science and clinical multidisciplinary audience, we welcome original full-length articles, reviews, meeting summaries, brief reports, and letters to the editor.Cancer Genetics is proud to be affiliated with the Cancer Genomics Consortium.- ISSN: 0165-4608

Journal of Electrocardiology
Official Journal of the International Society for Computerized Electrocardiology and the International Society of ElectrocardiologyThe Journal of Electrocardiology is devoted exclusively to clinical and experimental studies of the electrical activities of the heart. It seeks to contribute significantly to the accuracy of diagnosis and prognosis and the effective treatment, prevention, or delay of heart disease. Editorial contents include electrocardiography, vectorcardiography, arrhythmias, membrane action potential, cardiac pacing, monitoring defibrillation, instrumentation, drug effects, and computer applications.- ISSN: 0022-0736

Alcohol
Alcohol is an international, peer-reviewed journal that is devoted to publishing multi-disciplinary biomedical research on all aspects of the actions or effects of alcohol on the nervous system or on other organ systems. Emphasis is given to studies into the causes and consequences of alcohol abuse and alcoholism, and biomedical aspects of diagnosis, etiology, treatment or prevention of alcohol-related health effects.Intended for both research scientists and practicing clinicians, the journal publishes original research on the neurobiological, neurobehavioral, and pathophysiological processes associated with alcohol drinking, alcohol abuse, alcohol-seeking behavior, tolerance, dependence, withdrawal, protracted abstinence, and relapse. In addition, the journal reports studies on the effects alcohol on brain mechanisms of neuroplasticity over the life span, biological factors associated with adolescent alcohol abuse, pharmacotherapeutic strategies in the treatment of alcoholism, biological and biochemical markers of alcohol abuse and alcoholism, pathological effects of uncontrolled drinking, biomedical and molecular factors in the effects on liver, immune system, and other organ systems, and biomedical aspects of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder including mechanisms of damage, diagnosis and early detection, treatment, and prevention. Articles are published from all levels of biomedical inquiry, including the following: molecular and cellular studies of alcohol's actions in vitro and in vivo; animal model studies of genetic, pharmacological, behavioral, developmental or pathophysiological aspects of alcohol; human studies of genetic, behavioral, cognitive, neuroimaging, or pathological aspects of alcohol drinking; clinical studies of diagnosis (including dual diagnosis), treatment, prevention, and epidemiology. The journal will publish 9 issues per year; the accepted abbreviation for Alcohol for bibliographic citation is Alcohol.Alcohol subscribes to the tenets of The Farmington Consensus. Submission of a paper to the journal will be taken as evidence that the authors have complied with the tenets set forth in the Consensus. All submitted material will be subject to peer review. Alcohol considers three types of manuscripts for publication:- Original research articles are full-length reports of the authors' original research addressing topics consistent with the Aims and Scope of the journal. Submissions outside the scope of the journal, or incomplete or fragmentary submissions, will not be considered.- Rapid communications are original, high-quality manuscripts that describe new data of high impact and major importance to the field. These contributions are typically short (e.g., 4 journal pages), and will be peer-reviewed by at least one expert in the field of the research and an Editor, and will be either accepted with minimal or no revisions or rejected. Publication of accepted rapid communications will be expedited.- Invited review articles will be considered for publication, upon invitation from the Editor-in-Chief, as full-length papers or mini-reviews. These contributions will be peer-reviewed. Contact the Editor-in-Chief concerning the suitability of a topic for an invited review.- ISSN: 0741-8329
